Shairelyn suddenly woke up by the extreme pain coming from her chest. She crouched and cried in pain, making the demon startled and awake. It was like being repeatedly punched and choked with pain. She no longer knew where to put herself, hold on, and what to do. Even Lucifer is confused and doesn't know how to help her.
"Baby, I'm here. Hold on, please," the demon said, trying to calm her down.
But she could no longer process what the demon was saying to her because the pain she was feeling was more dominant and starting to become worst. She wanted to calm herself down, but she really couldn't. Whatever she did, she still wouldn't stop the pain digging deep into her. Shairelyn also understood nothing about her surroundings.
