Twelve months earlier
I came back to Nevada to start up a company. I've had dreams of starting up something in Nevada, because it was home for me. I had started the project some years back, but it was time to move back there.
Here I was standing in my new office, staring at the buzzing street, through my up-to-down glass window. It was busy as usual but the view from where I stood was magnificent. I could pay a thousand bucks to watch the sights every day.
“Is the office to your taste?” Leonard asked me. Leonard was the one in charge of the whole construction of the company. I was occupied in Los Angeles, so I could not handle the construction of the company. But thanks to Leonard, he oversaw everything and it perfectly suited my taste.
