Nicholas's POV
Although I want to control my feelings for her, Nicole's presence made it hard for me. Even when she isn't close by, I think about her, I feel her presence everywhere around me. I can't believe I told her I usually watch her sleep. That sounds creepy.
But the truth was when she was hospitalized, even when she got home after being discharged, I stayed by her side, watching her sleep and my heart raced whenever she stirred in her sleep. I wouldn't like to be caught in the act.
I'm thankful for the storm that brought Nicole and I together, literally and figuratively. I had wished it would rain forever just to keep Nicole close to me because she wouldn't go out in the rain.
