Present time
I can't believe Lucas had the nerve to show his face after everything he had put us through. And for him to show himself to me, he must have a plan and I really need to find that out.
Finding out his next move was the only reason I accepted the invitation in the first place. I have to be smart when it comes to Lucas because he is a dangerous man, and he wouldn't stop until he gets what he wants.
“I wasn't expecting you to honor my invitation,” Lucas said, with a sinister smile on his face.
Standing in the same room with Thomas Lucas made anger surge through me. Just being in the same room with him makes me want to punch him.
