A month before Nicole and Nicholas's wedding
The beeping sound of the telephone interrupted my focus on the file in front of me. Reluctantly, I picked up the telephone to hear what Sophia had to say this time.
“Mr Jackwood, someone is here to see you.” She said.
“Does the person have an appointment?” I asked her.
It is common sense to send away whoever wants to see me without an appointment. I don't attend to anyone without an appointment. That's professional etiquette.
“No, but…” Sophia tried to explain, but Nicholas cut it off before she could.
“Sophia, I'm too occupied to attend to someone without an appointment. Please just send them away politely.” I told her.
