The woman in the mirror was different. The only thing familiar were her eyes, still vividly green in a face that didn't look like hers. She looked tired, thinner, her hair tied to the nape of her neck in a dull, unwashed bun. She had barely ventured out of her room the past few weeks, eating meagrely and sleeping the days off. Victoria sighed, readying herself for what she was about to do. It was time she revealed her pregnancy to Giovanni. He had seen her retching one more time after the first one, and she knew he wasn't a fool. If he hadn't come to his conclusions yet, the suspicions would already be there. Slowly, she made her way out the door, trying to stop her slight trembling. If only Maddie were here. She would tell her what to do, how to act. She wouldn't be so fearful. As
