Something Different

Paris POV

The pup gently took the spoon and put it in his mouth before climbing out of the cabinet. When he got down he handed me the spoon and sat down next to me.

"You look better now that you are clean." I said smiling at him while getting another big scoop of ice cream and handing it to him.

"I took a shower and had someone give me new clothes." He put the spoon in his mouth and then his face changed colors.

"What is it?" I asked worried that he saw someone that used to hurt him.

"My throat is cold and numb." He sounded panicked and I just laughed a little. "Why are you laughing? It's not funny, it hurts." The boy started to cry and I pulled him closer to me.

"Don't worry it will go away in a few minutes. It just means that you are eating ice cream too fast." I rubbed his back while he softly cried on my shoulder.

Jake came in practically running when he heard the poor pup sob. As soon as he stepped into the room he looked at the pup and kneeled. Jake looked confused and didn't know why he kneeled in front of me and the kid.

I looked into Jake's eyes and he looked into mine hoping to get an explanation. I sighed, standing up and setting the pup on the counter. He looked sad when I stopped touching him.

"Jake this is Eric he... he is our pup." I looked away from Jake so I couldn't see his expression. I honestly didn't know how he would take it considering only my family knew about Eric.

Eric looked up at me, completely surprised by what I said. I smiled at him as he stared at me, trying to figure out if I was serious or not.

"You're serious?!" Jake and Eric said it at the same time. I just picked Eric up and hugged him while nodding my head and saying yes. The next thing I knew Eric was crying while Jake hugged both of us and didn't say anything.

After a few minutes he loosened his grip on me and Eric, slowly pulling back. Looking at Eric with complete and utter love and happiness with a hint of protectiveness. Then he looked at me with lust and happiness.

"I have a son." Jake said it while smiling and looked me in the eyes before he kissed me.

Jake pulled away, placing his forehead on mine and smiling with his heart. "I will never let you two go."

I jumped when I heard someone clap. Looking at the doorframe I saw Tobias with hatred in his eyes. "She is my mate and fiancee not yours Vogel."

Jake's POV

"You are her second choice mate not a real one." I growled causing Eric to shake a little.

I gently rubbed his back causing him to relax. While glaring at Tobias Paris pulled away from me. "You will not yell or use your dominate voices with my son in the room, do you hear me Tobias?"

Paris' voice left no room for argument. For a female she has untouchable power, for an Alpha she has power we strive to achieve. Paris raised an eyebrow waiting for an answer. Tobias looked at the Coven members that were staring at us from the table.

"I understand but I will only listen because he is your son and not HIS." Glaring at me Tobias bowed his head to Paris and glared at the rest of the Coven, telling them to leave.

Paris handed me Eric and turned towards me. "Take Eric to your room, he needs a nap.." She looked at me softly and sympathetically before turning to Tobias.

As soon as Tobias saw Paris' eyes he bowed even lower. I speed walked out of there not even waiting for her to start arguing with him.

Running up the stairs and laying Eric on the bed I went on the other side. He curled up to my side and I instinctively started to rub his head the way my mother used to. Eric closed his eyes as I focused my hearing on Paris and Tobias' argument.

"Who the hell told you it was okay to even think about arguing with Jake?! And mates again?! You know I don't like talking about it!" Paris was heated.

"Who said that Jake could kiss my fiancee? Last time I checked you hated mates because he killed your f*****g family! But the second you find your brother you are willing to have Jake back in your life?!" Bad boy Tobias, always bringing up her parents.

"Did you seriously bring my parents into this again?! This is the second time in the SAME f*****g DAY that you brought it up. And you know how I feel about Jake." Paris talked though gritted teeth, probably trying to control Izzy.

"Yeah, I know how you've felt about him since he showed up, it is completely different than what you told me before he showed up. Why did your feelings change so much?" I could hear his pain. Please don't cave in for him baby.

"Because I know who ordered Jake to kill my pack, I also know who abused all these kids including my brother." She sighed clearly gettin agitated. The person that did this must have been close to her.

"So? Jake is still the one that cheated on you and f*****g killed your pack and family." Stubborn ass Vampire.

"It means that I don't f*****g trust this Coven anymore Jake. He has so many freaking friends and spies that I don't think I am safe here. But if I leave then I risk losing everyones trust and I don't want to break the oath."

"Just tell me who the bastard is so I can help."

"I can't tell you, I am sorry Tobias."

"No I am sorry Paris. But if you can't trust me with a name then you don't trust me with your future. So until then we are done, the engagement is off." I heard someone slam a door and start to run outside.

I was so focused on trying to find out who ran away that I didn't notice Paris come into my room. Feeling someone take my hand I was brought back to reality.

"You were ease dropping weren't you?" She looked at me amused before pulling me off the bed and leaving a sleeping Eric in the room.

Before I knew it we were in an empty room. "Is this your room?" It clearly wasn't but I didn't know what else to say.

"No but it is now. I am not going to be in the same room as Tobias if he is going to act like a kid." She sighed before looking at me with slight lust.

I can't deny the tension. I'm not sure if it's because of the mate bond or the fact that I am so turned on because of her defending me against Tobias. She really does love me. Moon Goddess I want her in the bed so bad.

Paris POV

I saw his eyes turn lustful just like mine. I crave this man every time I see him, smell him and think about him. He is so much better at everything compared to Tobias, even him holding my hand feels better.

I stepped closer to Jake, looking into his eyes then his lips. As I got closer I bit my lip and looked up into his eyes. His eyes were darker than normal, showing me just how bad he wants me. Slowly rubbing my hand up his back my head tilts up so I can kiss his jaw and nibble it a little.

As soon as I gently nibbled his jaw Jake lightly growled and brought his lips onto mine. "Don't tease me Paris or I will make Izzy come out and be with me." I heard Zackary grunt so I sucked on his bottom lip.

"Bring her out Zack she wants you just as much as you want her." Zackary growled, accepting the challenge and tossing me onto the bed.

Slowly taking off his shirt, flexing every muscle in his arms and his abs. I let out a low growl at how slow he was going. After he finally took off his shirt he threw it at me, I caught it and inhaled his scent. When I looked at Zackary he was slowly taking off his pants and I felt Izzy take control.

"You are going too slow Zack." Izzy growled as she pulled him onto the bed.

Tobias POV

I can't believe this! Paris is making a mistake just by thinking she could be with that dumb mutt. I protected her and helped heal her after that dumb f**k broke her. She was so broken when she came to me for help.

I took a deep breath while sitting on the ground, leaning against an oak tree. A memory popped into my head as soon as I closed my eyes and exhaled.

When Paris got here she refused to sleep. She was so guarded and defensive that she refused to close her eyes except to blink. I convinced the doctor to give me a sedative so she could sleep. She screamed throughout the night making me regret my decision to slip it into her food.

Paris slept after that knowing that I already knew she had nightmares. She would have them twice a day, every nap and actual night sleep ended with her waking up screaming and sweating.

It took me over three months to convince her to talk to me about them. Thankfully the nightmares stopped and she could sleep a solid twelve hours at a time.

I blinked while looking at the trees, watching the leaves sway gently in the breeze.

'I don't want the dumb ass to break her again.' I sighed gripping my hair with my hand.

I don't want Vogel to have her but he is her mate. But she didn't want him until last night or this morning.

Fuck my life. Why did I have to fall in love with this woman?

"At least she hasn't had s*x with him." I unlocked my phone and brought up the camera. Tilting my phone just enough to see the mark on my neck.

It's such a beautiful paw print with the letter H in the center representing hybrid. For some reason it was lighter than I remember. It must be from us not having s*x in a while. Maybe I should get laid. Paris and I are on a break so it wouldn't hurt.

Well one human can't hurt much.

Paris POV

"Wow... That was amazing." I looked over at Jake who was out of breath.

"Do I want to know how you got so good since last time?" I laughed when I saw his wide smile.

"I could ask you the same thing." I rolled my eyes while smiling, still trying to catch my breath.

"You were so amazing to me so let me reward you." I laughed while Jake went under the blanket.

"You probably aren't that good Jakey." I mocked as he made a weird noise.

"Just let me enjoy this Paris and I guarantee I will make you cum." I felt his breath going further and further up my thigh.

"Give me a piece of your heaven." He gently kissed my inner thigh before moving to my p***y. I was about to let out a moan when the bedroom door flung open.

"Mum I am bored." Eric looked at me clearly wanting attention.

"Go downstairs and I will be down in a minute."

"What is wrong with your face? You look like you're in pain." Eric started to walk closer to me and I could feel my pulse quicken.

"Mommy is fine baby. I promise I will be downstairs as soon as I find Daddy." I practically cried from holding in so many moans and trying to keep a steady voice.

"Okay. Don't make me come back in here." Eric ran out the room, slamming the door shut.

"Make me c*m Alpha!" I moaned while pulling on his hair.

"Okay baby what do you want to do?" I looked between Eric and my brother hoping someone would come up with an idea. But nope, silence, that was all I got.

"Have they decided yet babe?" I turned around to see Jake in ripped jeans coming down the stairs. When he stood next to me he shook his hair making water droplets go everywhere.

"Did yo-" I was RUDELY interrupted by him throwing his wet towel at my face.

"Okay boys, since you don't know what you want to do we will go to the park." I ripped the towel off my head and started to twist it tightly while Jake was distracted. Payback is always a b***h Alpha. I mentally laughed while Jake squatted to be the same height as the boys.

I quietly took three steps back before I leaned forward a bit. I pulled both of my arms to my left side before I released my left hand and flicked my right wrist as fast and hard as I could. As soon as I heard the sound of wet skin connecting with the towel I ran as fast as I could up the stairs.

"Paris Hilton get your ass back here!!" I could hear his loud footsteps coming after me and headily quickened my pace. I ran to my new room and pressed my body against the door hoping to over power him easily.

*THUD* I heard his body slam into my door and for a second I thought he broke through the door. "PARIS LET ME IN!!"

"You were too slow Jakey." I laughed a little when I heard him sigh in frustration. "Giving up already Alpha?" I mocked and could practically hear his eyes roll.

"Never baby girl. But soon you will be begging for mercy."

"You wish Jake, you're just upset that you can't over power me." For a split second it went quiet until multiple people started to bang on my door. I sat on the floor pressing my feet against the king sized bed to get more of an advantage.

"You won't win against us mum." Awe my poor little baby chose the losing team and is in denial.

"Oh sweaty it's okay to be confident but this is me we are talking about. Nobody can beat m-"

"Gotcha!" I screamed as I saw Jake come in through the window on the other side of my room.

"Don't scare me like that dumb ass!" I stood up and ran to him. Jake opened his arms only to get hit in the chest with my fist.

"Did my run away alpha just get caught?" He smirked at me and I suddenly felt two pairs of arms wrap around my thigh.

"Hehe, who said I didn't want to be found?" I smiled at Jake as I pet Eric and Alex's heads. I raised an eyebrow at Jake, silently asking him what he's waiting for. He suddenly got my hint and wrapped his arms around me.

Alex POV

We have been at the park for a few hours. The sun was setting and we were all watching it on top of the jungle gym. I was on Paris' lap and Eric was on Jake, both of them playing with our hair.

"It feels good to have a family again." I mentally told my sister. I instantly saw her face change from relaxed and happy to hate and conflicted. She instantly noticed that her expression changed and went back to her relaxed and happy face.

"Yes it does.... I love you Alex." I leaned against her and she stiffened a little, looking away from the sunset to look at Jake and Eric. Eric had fallen asleep on Jake and Jake was looking at the sunset, lost in thought.

"You are going to leave aren't you?" I looked up at Paris with puppy-dog eyes trying to get her to open up.

"I... I need to go." I could practically feel hurt heart break when she said that. She didn't want to leave so why is she?

"Why do you have to go? I just got you back Paris."

"I know how dangerous this guy is Alex. If I don't start to look for him he might find us when we least expect it." She let out a deep sigh as if she didn't want to continue. "I know he has a son. I don't know how I am going to find him but I have to try somewhere."

I shifted in her lap so I could see her face better. She had tears in her eyes but refused to let them go down her cheeks. "I don't want to lose my family again.... I was so happy when I found you Alex."

"When did you decide you would leave?"

"The second I saw what he did to you. Sure he hurt those other kids too but you are my brother Alex. You shouldn't of had to go through that for so long. They should be glad they didn't hurt Eric or else they would have burned the day I went there."

"You are doing this for me?"

"I am doing it for everyone... but yeah, mainly for you and our parents."

"Okay... I don't want to be separated from you again but you need to do this. Not just for us but for everyone he has hurt and will hurt in the future."

"I love you Alex."

"I love you more sissy." I stood up on her lap and hugged her as tightly as I could. I wanted to cry but I know Jake would get suspicious and not let Paris out of his sight. I inhaled her scent and laid my head on her shoulder, slowly letting darkness take over.

Eric POV

I felt someone touch my hair and sit up as quick as I could. Once my eyes adjusted to the darkness I saw my mum sitting in the rocking chair by my bed. It took her a minute to realize I was awake but she got up right away and came to sit on my bed.

"I'm sorry I woke you baby." She said it so softly and distant that I almost didn't hear her.

"What's wrong?" I could see tears in her eyes and I wanted to know everything. My mum should never be sad, I am her protector. I am her happy place and so is Alex, so why is she sad when she has both of us?

"I... I want you to keep an eye on your dad for a while. Please tell Eric if something bad happens so he can tell me." I quietly nodded, hoping she would tell me more if I didn't interrupt her.

"You are my brave boy. I will never let anyone hurt you or Alex ever again, okay?" I nodded again. I am honestly surprised at this side of her. She never showed weakness only her strength but now? It looks like she is falling apart.

"I love you Monkey." Mum gently kissed my forehead and rubbed my hair. I gently purred against her touch and she looked surprised.

"I love you too momma bear." I kissed her hand and smiled at her. She gently smiled at me before walking out of my room and gently shutting my bedroom door.

"I love you forever and ever. Don't forget about me mum." I whispered and cried myself to sleep knowing that she was leaving.

Paris POV

I grabbed the suitcase with my clothes in it, throwing it in the backseat of my car and starting the engine. Wiping the tears off my face I looked in my passenger seat to make sure my laptop was on the floor with the folder on the seat.

"I promise I will come back boys. I will love you forever and ever." I looked straight into the security camera. I pull my right hand towards my heart and make an x motion. "I cross my heart that I will come back for you and will protect you to the end of time." I kissed my hand and blew it three times to the camera. "I love you boys."

I put my car in reverse before opening the garage door. I quickly reversed out the garage, angling my car so I can put it in drive. After I put it in drive I shut the garage and slammed on the gas.

Once I was a few miles away from the house I put my car on autopilot so I could look at the file on the seat. It was about ten inches thick, full of all the information I will need on my two targets.
