Turning Things Around

PARIS POV

    It's not everyday that I wake up without remembering what happened the night before. All I know is that I am currently laying in bed next to Travis. It is three in the morning and yes, we are both naked. I don't remember how it happened, and if I did then I am in denial.

    Izzy: "Get up Paris, we have to get the boys up and go to training."

    'But I don't want to train. My body hurts.'

    Izzy: "That's what happens when you let your protector mark you."

    'I what?!'

    I quickly jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. Pinning my hair up into a bun I looked at my neck.

    'Don't scare me like that Izzy!'

    Izzy: "It got you up didn't it?"

    'Yeah, yeah, yeah.' I rolled my eyes and blocked her out.

    What would have happened if he did mark me? My mate would be so heart broken. Besides, Eric just got us back, I'm not willing to rip my family apart like that.

    *Knock Knock*

    "Come in."

    "Are you okay Paris? Your heart is racing like crazy."

    "I'm fine. What happened last night?"

    "Well after you got fresh air you started to relax. We watched a movie on Netflix and you kissed me out of nowhere. I tried to stop but I couldn't, Lance took over. You don't remember?"

    "No.. The last thing I remember was leaning on your shoulder when we were outside."

    "Maybe Izzy took over. You usually don't remember what happens when she takes full control."

    "It just seems weird."

    "You regret it don't you?"

    f**k. He looks so sad and defeated right now. His shoulders slumped, eyes cast down to the floor, leaning against the door like he needs it to support him.

    "I regret not remembering it." Yet I also regret it. I don't want to hurt Jacob but we aren't mated like we were when he cheated on me.

    "Really?"

    "Yeah. You know how bad I wanted you at school. It's like the second you touch me my body wants nothing more than to be all over you."

    "Well, we have an hour before you have to go to training."

    "I have to wake up the boys."

    Travis walked towards me and grabbed my hand, slowly running it from his abs to his lips. I felt his tongue flick over my finger before he put it into his mouth. My imagination went wild and my eyes rolled back into my head.

    "Trust me, they will wake up before I'm done with you."

Fin POV

    I sat at the table across from Paris, arms crossed and body tense with anger. Did she really have to be that loud at 3:30 in the f*****g morning?!

    "You know, you could have waken us up in a more pleasant way." I growled at her and all she did was blush and smile.

    "It was pleasant for me."

    "Not for the rest of us." The other twelve nodded, looking at her irritatedly.

    "Then take your anger out during training. How I wake you up doesn't matter as long as you get the f**k up by the time we have to leave."

    I honestly don't know if I like this woman or not. She is so head strong and confident that it irritates me, yet if she didn't have those traits she wouldn't be a leader. But for real, who the f**k wakes up their guests with the sound of moaning?

    "Be jealous all you want boys, but by the time you are in shape you will get what I have." She winked at me and stood up.

    "Travis I'm leaving! Tell Alex and Eric I will see them tonight!"

    "Okay! Have fun and don't kill anyone!"

    "Alright, let's go boys."

    When training started it made me want to kill her even more. Seeing her happy about working out and not even breaking a sweat. Sure we just started but come on, we aren't that active. I already feel like I'm going to have a heart attack.

    "Alright everyone, we are trying something new today. I will go to each of you and sit on your back while you do push ups. If I am not sitting on you then you will be doing a plank or dead. Got it?"

    I groaned loudly as soon as she said that. If she keeps it up we WILL be dead before the war even starts.

    "Fin I don't want to hear it. If you can't get back into shape then don't get out of it. You will all be fit by the end of two weeks. Hate me now but you will be grateful in the future. Now get into formation."

    She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at me as I stared at her. I copied her position and stuck my tongue out at her. She let out a deep growl and changed one eye to red and another to blue.

    "I said get into formation Fin or I will make sure you regret opening your mouth."

    Yen: "I like her, feisty and sexy."

    'Don't even think about it Yen. There is no way I am going to f**k her.

    Yen: "I forgot you were into fat bimbos."

    Yen rolled his eyes as I got into formation. I swear if he wasn't my wolf I would never talk to him. We are too different and he makes my life feel like a complete joke.

    "Fabian stand up, I want you to sit on top of Fin."

    "Why me?"

    "You are heavier than me. Fin needs the extra weight."

    "f**k you." I said without even realizing it until I felt something hit my stomach.

    "What did I tell you earlier Fin? f*****g listen to me or next time I will hit you harder."

    I felt weight on my back and grunted. Of course this b***h would kick my stomach HARD and expect me to do push ups right after it. I officially hate her so f*****g much.

    Yen: "But she's so f*****g sexy dude!"

    'Shut up you stupid dog!'

    Yen: "First off I am a wolf not a dog. Second, it's not my fault she kicked your ass so don't take it out on me."

    'Whatever.'

    "Earth to Fin! I said start your pushups like fifteen times!"

Paris POV

    This f*****g i***t, if he doesn't die before I'm done with him it will be a miracle.

    Liz: 'You have to admit he's cute though Paris.'

    'We aren't doing this. You always want me to f**k everyone you find the slightest bit attractive.'

    Liz: 'You find him attractive to Paris. Sure he doesn't have abs like Jacob and Travis but he's not fat.'

    'What's next Liz, are you going to say I should f**k Fabian too?'

    Liz: 'I'm just saying that I know you thought about him when you were having s*x with Travis this morning.'

    'No I wasn't! I was just thinking about waking up the boys.'

    Liz: 'Don't even try to lie to me b***h. You want Fin to wrap his hand around your neck and pin you against the wall. You also want him to claim you in front of everyone here.'

    'Shut up Liz, that's not what I want. I just want Jacob and Travis.'

    Liz: 'Whatever helps you sleep at night.'

    "Alright guys, time for a break. Today you have two hours to do whatever you want before we get back to work." I need a nap.

    "Paris hold on a second." I stopped walking towards the pack house and turned around.

    "Jacob what are you doing here?"

    "I had to come see you. I know I keep pissing you off and I'm sorry but it's hard not to get defensive around you. You are mine, nobody else's. I don't want you to get hurt or anything."

    "Then why didn't you tell me about the markings? I wouldn't have told Eric you were his father if I knew you were going to die in a few weeks. You're tearing our family apart."   

    "I didn't mean to okay? I didn't think it through, I didn't think about how Eric would feel."

    "You didn't think about anyone but yourself Jacob. You can't blame what you did to me on my parents or my uncle, you just can't."

    "Baby." Jacob started walking closer to me so I stepped back, letting out a low growl.

    "Don't Jacob, you are making it harder on Eric and I by doing this." 

    "I just want to be with you guys for as long as I can before I leave." My back hit the pack house as Jacob stood in front of me, his breath hitting my neck.

    "Jacob, stop. I don't want to hurt you." I whimpered as his eyes looked at my neck. "Please don't Jacob."

    "Get off of her." I heard someone growl but I couldn't tell who it was through my tears.

    "You can't stop me from marking my mate." Jacob growled, bringing his face closer to my neck.

    "Yes I can. She doesn't want you Alpha." I heard a powerful growl that I could recognize anywhere.

    "Travis." I whimpered softly as I felt teeth sink into my neck, intense pain running through my body.

    "Let her go Jacob." I felt my body falling as I began to lose consciousness but I never did hit the ground.

    Ugh, my entire body hurts. Why can't I move?

    "I should have gotten there sooner, this wouldn't have happened."

    "Quit blaming yourself, it's not your fault. I was there first, I should have fought him instead of provoking him."

    "You're just a kid that tried to help, I'm her protector I was supposed to always be by her side. I should have known Jacob was evil."

    "How would you have known?"

    "Because Jacob spent years searching for her. He was trying to find her, I'm not sure why but I still should have known he would force himself on her once we had sex."

    "But now that he marked her... What will happen to her?"

    "She will suffer for a while. I'm not sure when she'll wake up or if she will still have her wolf. It just depends on how attached Lizzy was to Zack."

    "Y-you kil-led him?" I finally spoke up with a scratchy voice.

    "Yes I did, I'm sorry Paris but it had to be done."

    "Eric.. Find Eric please, I need him."

    "But Paris you can't see yet, you can't even move. I can't leave you unprotected."

    "I'll watch her, just go find Eric and Alex."

    "Okay, thanks Fin. I'll be back soon Paris."

    I heard the door shut and Fin walk closer to me. I don't know how to feel about him watching me while I am basically paralyzed and completely defenseless.

    "Why are you so worried about Eric?"

    "Because he is the heir of Jacob's pack. If his pack knows about Eric they will be after him."

    "What's so bad about that?"

    "Is this twenty questions or something?"

    "Sorry, I was just curious."

    "It's alright... If we weren't about to go to war then MAYBE I wouldn't be so worried but we are and the enemy knows about him. Besides, Jacob was corrupt there's no telling what his pack is like."

    "So you are doing all of this to protect your son?" For once Fin was being smart, never saw that coming.

    "Somewhat, I mean I would still be doing this if he never existed. The point of everything is to make the future a safe place instead of cowering to the corrupted members of society. Nobody cared when my family was attacked, they didn't even look for me. I want people to care about each other and help them when something, good or bad, happens."

    "Paris, I think you have it all wrong."

    Fin stepped closer to me and grabbed my hand, gently squeezing it. Through his touch I could feel his heartbeat and the blood rushing through his veins, I could even hear the mind link to his pack. I have to admit that this has never happened to me before, it's kind of weird.

    "Everyone wanted to help, but nobody was aloud to. I'm not sure why but the Vampires and some Werewolves watched over everyone to make sure we wouldn't help. We mourned your family, everyone did. It was like losing a big part of us, everything was grey. But I can't tell you who ordered us to be watched, it could have been Jacob for all I know."

    Speechless... That's how I feel right now. Who else would have known about my family being slaughtered outside of Jacob and my uncle? I know for a fact my uncle is a jack ass but he would never work with Vampires to keep everyone under control. He wouldn't start a war if he knew he could take control of everything.

    "How do you know so much about it? Weren't you like fourteen when it happened?" I tried to blow it off like he was making it up, and I really wished I didn't believe him.

    "I was nineteen actually, same age as you. Hybrids always look younger than we actually are. I look eighteen now but I am actually twenty-three. I remember everything from that day though. No matter how much I wish I could forget, but there was a big part of me missing that day. Like, someone took half of my soul."

    I looked into Fin's eyes, he had turned them to a sea blue/green. He looked sad thinking about the day everything went down but who could blame him? That day went down in Supernatural history, not just Werewolf because of the influence my family had on everyone. We were the peace keepers between the Supernaturals, keeping all Werewolves safe from attacks. Since then Packs have been threatened by Rogues, Werewolves threatened by Vampires, and Hybrids threatened by everyone.

    "Do you think this is a good idea? My vision for after the war."

    "I believe it is something to strive for to keep peace but I don't know Paris. Your family kept the peace for thousands of years, why not go back to that way?"

    "Because Hybrids were still being slaughtered along with their parents. I could easily take the responsibility of ruling over Werewolves but it wouldn't gain Hybrids any respect. Hybrids have to have a role in the Werewolf and Vampire world. So yes, I could take the easy way and let g******e still take place, but I don't want that to happen."

    "You're definitely different than everyone else. Most people don't care as long as they can save themselves."

    Fin smiled at me a little before looking out of the window. I never really noticed it before but Fin is already fit. Usually he wears a hoodie and sweatpants but right now he is shirtless and wearing shorts. There is a slight outline of a six pack but it isn't quite defined yet. He must have been working out without the pack knowing.

    Liz: 'I told you he was hot.' Liz purred in my head

    'He is okay, happy? But I'm not going to sleep with him. At least not until after the war.'

    Liz: 'Yet you'll f**k Travis and Jacob.' Liz rolled her eyes.

    'Jacob was my mate what did you expect me to do? It's not like I felt anything for him I just wanted Eric to have both of his parents. Besides Travis is just a crush, we are bond to be inseparable due to him being my protector.'

    "Paris can I do something really stupid?" Fin turn to look at me again, his eyes Golden.

    "Sure I guess." I mentally shrugged my shoulders since I still can't seem to move my body.

    Fin slowly got closer to me, clearly unsure of what he is about to do. The way he's acting is making me nervous causing my palms to start sweating.

    "Close your eyes Paris." 

    I did as I was told since I am dying to know what he is about to do. Maybe I shouldn't say dying, more like curious. After a good minute or so I felt something on my lips, causing sparks to erupt throughout my entire body. I slowly kissed him back, completely unsure about what I was doing. Within a few seconds I regained control of my body and put my hand on the back of Fin's neck.

    I felt Fin's tongue slowly lick my bottom lip and I immediately opened my mouth greeting his tongue with mine. I gently tugged on his hair causing him to moan into my mouth as his hands traveled down my body. The sparks slowly intensified as Liz purred and called out to the Hybrid inside of Fin. As soon as his Hybrid responded I felt my canines start to extend.

    "Sorry, I can't do this right now." I quickly turned away from Fin so he couldn't see my canines. If he knew Lizzy wanted to claim him he would surely run away. Besides she's a horny wolf, she wants to f**k everyone. I want to make sure he is mine before I mate again, I don't want Eric to get attached again.

    "It's alright, I should probably go anyway. Eric should be here any minute and you'll probably want to be alone with him." 

    I could tell I hurt him by the way his voice quivered. I didn't want him to leave at all, I actually wanted him to stay and get to know my two boys but I can't control myself right now. I could feel Liz and the Hybrid wolf call for each other as he left. His shoulders were slumped and his head bent down, I saw his body gently shake as he reached for the door.

    "Don't," I whispered hoping he would hear me but not loud enough to know his sadness effected me.

    He quickly ran to my side and hugged me to him, exhaling my scent and kissing my head. "You're not using me right?" Fin asked, his voice cracking.

    "No, I just don't want to hurt you or Eric. He just lost his dad, what if he losses you too." My eyes watered at the thought of Eric's sad face. I still have to tell him about Jacob.

    "Hey, it's okay. I will be here and if you need me to help I will, even if I have to tell Eric that I killed Jacob."

    "You killed my dad?" I looked over at Eric and his eyes were red, Travis must have told him.

    "Yeah... I'm sorry kid, really. I wish it didn't come to that but I had no choice."

    Eric slowly came over to me and sat on my lap while Travis stood at the door with Alex in his arms. Fin was awkwardly standing beside my bed looking at Eric with sympathy. I gently hugged Eric and organized my thoughts before I did anything else.

    Taking a deep breath I gestured for Travis to bring me Alex so I could touch him. Once I touched both of the boys on their heads and sent my memories of my encounter with Jacob. I also sent how he found me at my coronation after I was just turned into a Hybrid. How he was aggressive with me when he found me, turned sweet around them and then aggressive when we were alone like today.

    Sure, it might seem cruel but they have to understand who Jacob really was. After my parents died, maybe even a little before that, he was cruel when he didn't get what he wanted. I don't want them to think that Jacob was a Saint when he was wearing a fake face around them.

    Both of the boys hugged me but I couldn't tell who said 'Monster.' Either Eric whispered it in my ear or Alex sent it through our link, but either way I knew both of them didn't think highly of Jacob anymore. 

    After a few minutes of silence Alex got up and stood on the bed right in front of Fin. Fin looked surprised when Alex touched him but quickly got flustered and looked at me and Eric. Leave it to Alex to give someone I have slight interest in a hard time. I could be rude and use my powers to listen in on their conversation (as in I can read minds) but I decided to give them some privacy.

    "Paris, can we talk." Travis sounded sad so I didn't hesitate to follow him out of the room.

    "You tell me that you don't want to break up your family and that's why you were with Jacob but slept with me. You know we have something special yet you're willing to f**k with Fin too?" I could hear slight anger but it was mainly pain seeping through his voice.

    "You aren't my mate, my mate is dead so what is stopping me from being with someone I am interested in? I can now love like a human and choose who I want to be with. Why are you stopping me from finding someone I will have no doubt about loving forever before I mate? I am tired of mating with people. I am cursed considering my mate and second chance mate were horrible people. I highly doubt I will have a third mate so let me find who I really want. Sure it could be you but I have to know for sure before I choose to be with or without you as a mate."

    I crossed my arms over my chest and gave him 'the look' signaling not to even think about arguing with me. Sure I might sound greedy but this is my life. I am not being a w***e if it is between two people that I love and am considering mating. Besides they know about each other so consider it a competition.

    "Fine, but don't come crying to me when you lost me for taking too long."

    "You don't have a right to talk to me like that. First, you are my protector so you have to be with me, always. Second, you didn't even TRY to find me after my parents died. Third, you cannot be mad that I have choices when you lie to me every day."

    "I didn't lie to you everyday."

Fin POV

    "I didn't lie to you everyday."

    "Really, how old is Fabian again? Why were you ten seconds late when it's a three hour run? When did you cheat on me? When did you tell me you were my protector?"

    "That's not the point Paris!"

    I let out a deep growl at Travis for raising his voice. Judging by the look on the kids' faces they let out a growl too but mine overpowered them.

    "The point is that you are a cheater. You lied to me a lot including today, so what are you hiding? Do you have another son, another lover, what is it?!"

    "I have a pack!"

    "And?"

    There was a long pause and I honestly hated it for her. It was bothering me yet alone how she felt. This man better be lucky that she is extremely patient when she wants to be. Since she obviously can't be patient at training.

    "I have a Luna."

    I heard a loud thud and I can only imagine what the wall next to his head looks like. Poor Paris, that has to sting at least a little bit.

    "We will talk about this later, right now I have a family to look after. Don't come back."

    The coldness in her voice was enough to send chills down my spine and goose bumps all over my arms. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of that. I must have zoned out thinking about it because before I realized it her arms were wrapped around me while her head was on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her as the boys joined in for the group hug.

    "I know you three heard everything." Paris mumbled into my chest, keeping her face hidden.

    "Yeah, and we are here to support you no matter what." I gently rubbed her back and smelled her hair.

    "We love you mom, Travis is just stupid." Eric gripped onto Paris' side and kissed her shoulder.

    "We will always be here no matter who is dumb enough to hurt you." Alex jumped onto my back, getting tired go having Paris' ass in his face.

    "Let's go out, all of us." I suggested tickling Alex while Paris held Eric.

    "Can we mom, please?" Eric looked up at Paris with puppy eyes and I could see her face soften.

    "Alright, but I drive."

    "No, I will. I want to take you guys somewhere special. It's hard to explain how to get there."

    Paris stared at me for a minute before nodding and throwing me her keys. Apparently Travis brought her car over when he got the boys. I grabbed Alex's hand and started walking out of the hospital with Paris and Eric following me.

    When we reached the parking lot I couldn't find her car. There wasn't a mini-van or regular car going off when I hit the unlock button so I was left confused. I heard Paris laugh before she grabbed my hand and started pulling me to a Ferrari and let me tell you something. I completely fan-girded over the sexy beast. It was black with a red strip going around the car, Crome rims with red lighting and a wolf imprinted on the hood.  The interior was black and red leather and blue light under the seats. There were new speakers inside that are known for their bass and sound effects. She had to put over ten thousand into these speakers.

    "Get in." Paris looked at me while I took my time. Everything was perfect inside and it still smelt new. I can't believe she's letting me drive this.

    While I was driving Paris kept hitting buttons on the touch screen and the lights on the inside changed as music started to play. 

    "What song do you want?" She looked at me with her hazel green eyes, clearly directing her question at me.

    "10 feet down by NF." Hopefully she doesn't think my musicologists taste is s**t.

    "I love that song." She smiled slightly as she clicked on a playlist titled 'Favorites Unknown POV

    It has been a week since Tobias has been killed and waiting is killing me. How long does it take to get an army ready?

    "Master?"

    "What do you want?!" I yelled, agitated about having to wait so long.

    "Jacob Vogel has been killed and Paris is nowhere to be found."

    "What do you mean nowhere to be found?!"

    "Well she was paralyzed one minute then gone the next. I have people tracking her down now."

    "You better find her. Make sure she is happy and has her guard down by the time we attack."

    "Yes Master."

    You won't get away from me this time Paris. I will personally make sure you don't survive this war. Your brother and son will be the death of you. You better be ready you little bastard.

Paris POV

    "This place is beautiful Fin." 

    I grabbed his hand and took him to my car. The boys are asleep in the cabin after playing for five hours.

    "Why are we at your car?"

    "Sit on it." I sat down on the hood and waited for him to do the same. He hesitated before he sat down next to me.

    "Do you like the sunset?" I looked up at him then back to the setting sun before answering.

    "Yeah, it's one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. But I know something that would look better."

    I stood up and opened the trunk of my car, taking out my $2,000 camera. I smirked at him while he looked at me confused. The car was positioned perfectly with the sunset. It was sideways showing the entire outline against the sunset and Fin sitting on the car.

    I took a couple pictures while he was off guard before telling him to smile. I have to admit he looked really good, and his smile was flawless. His perfectly straight, white teeth and the sexy beast of a car mixed with a perfect sunset makes a flawless photo. 

    "Let's turn things around babygirl."

    He suddenly got up and took my camera before picking me up with one arm and sitting me on the car. He smiled at me before taking a picture of me and backing up to include the sunset this time. I heard someone coming and immediately became alert. Soon Eric and Alex came out of the woods and jumped onto me. I hugged them tightly and kissed their heads, my heart racing from the false alarm.

    I looked over at Fin and saw him taking pictures of us and smiled at him. I gestured for him to join us and he smiled so wide I thought it would break his face. As soon as Fin wrapped his arms around the three of us I felt safe, my heartbeat finally becoming steady and my body relaxing.

    "The boys are finally asleep." I sat down on the couch and leaned my head over the couch to see Fin in the kitchen. 

    "That's good, I hope the soup keeps them from getting a cold. I don't know if swimming for that long and being cold after leaving the lake will give them a cold."

    "They will be fine. And if they get sick I can give them medicine and movie days till they get better." I smiled at him as he continued messing around in the kitchen. "So what are you doing?"

    "Making us a drink. I personally like margaritas, I know it sounds girly but the flavor is just so addicting."

    "No judging here, they are amazing and my favorite drink."

    "Good, cause I already finished making them."

    He walked over to me and handed me a HUGE glass. I immediately took a sip and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. It's like my taste buds are having an orgasm. So oh course I accidentally let out a moan, which by the way, is embarrassing.

    "I'm glad you like it that much." He chuckled as he took a sip of his drink, having the EXACT reaction of me.

    "Did you mock me or are you that in love with the drink too?" I smiled at him as he blushed.

    "Both. I did it to mock you but the moan was 100% happening even if you didn't."

    I laughed at him before taking another drink. The TV was currently playing San Andreas starring Dwayne Johnson, one of my all time favorite movies. Before the movie even got to the part where Dwayne rescues his wife I finished my margarita and was looking at Fin. He was watching the movie and sipping on his drink while I was basically eye raping him, and I have to admit I'm not ashamed of it.

    As soon as Fin looked at me with his Golden eyes showing lust I was gone. Liz called out to his Hybrid wolf, Titan and he was eagerly responding, calling back. We both let out a low growl before Fin grabbed my hips and had me sit on his lap. My hands were locked in his hair while I bit on his lower lip, teasing him before I kissed him back.

    Fin let out a groan when I tugged on his hair at the same time I kissed him. He slowly lifted up his hips to meet mine causing me to gasp as he smirked. To get back at him I pushed up against his b***r and plunged my tongue into his mouth. This ultimately led to him grabbing my ass as we fought for dominance. I let out a soft moan and he gently pulled on my hair as he put his other hand in my shirt. 

    I let out a low growl as my canines extended, wanting to mark him now. Instead of stopping Fin kissed my jaw and I felt his canines out too. His wolf whimpered for mine which Izzy gladly returned, accepting his offer to be his.

    As soon as Lizzy approved I passed out. Damn alcohol. But hey, at least things are starting to turn around.
