Arlo
I won’t lie; the weekend was weird without having Parker and Violet here. I found myself missing Violet, which surprised me. She hasn’t been here that long, but it felt weird without her. I hope they had a good weekend. I got a little jealous, not because they were together, but because he had her all to himself for the weekend, which Tyson and I haven’t had the chance to do. Lucky bastard. I wish I could sweep her away to a hotel for a naughty getaway. It is maybe something I should consider. I won’t make it too soon, though.
“What are you lost in your head about?”
The sound of Tyson’s voice makes me look up.
“Nothing much.” I lie.
He raises his brow at me, “You are a terrible liar.” He chuckles.
“I am fine. When did Parker say they would be back?”
“Any moment. Is that what you are thinking about?”
“Why would I be thinking of Parker?” I laugh.
“I don’t mean him. I mean Violet. You have been moping around this weekend. Were you bothered by those two being away together?” he asks and sits next to me.
I shake my head, “No, it didn’t bother me. I have just missed having her around, is all.”
“Are you sure that is all it is?”
I roll my eyes. Here we go again. He is going to accuse me of having feelings for Violet.
“Positive. I don’t have feelings for Violet, Tyson. You are trying to say you didn’t miss having her around?”
“Yes, I missed not having them both around, but I wasn’t the one moping around. You were. You would tell me if you had developed stronger feelings for her, right?”
I sigh, “Yes, I would tell you. I would tell both of you, but it isn’t that. I am fine with how things are between us all. It is good and fun. I don’t want or need anything more from Violet.” I state firmly.
He eyes me suspiciously, wondering if he should believe me or not. He nods, but I am still not sure if he is convinced. He can believe what he wants. I am telling the truth. He pats my arm, chuckles and disappears to his bedroom. I wish everyone would stop asking me about my feelings. I don’t have any. I am not looking for a relationship or love.
I groan in annoyance. The sound of the front door opening grabs my attention. My eyes fall on it, and I see Violet walking in alone.
“Hey, where is Parker?”
“He had to stop by work. He will be back soon.” She smiles.
She comes over and tosses herself down on the sofa next to me.
“How was your weekend, angel?”
“It was great. We had a lot of fun. I am exhausted, though.” She laughs.
I notice all the marks on her neck, legs, and thighs. “Yes, I can see you had fun,” I chuckle.
She blushes and giggles, “Yes. He likes to leave his mark. You all do. I can’t remember the last time my body didn’t have any hickeys, friction burns, bruises, bite marks or fingerprints on it.”
“We like to remind you of us all.” I tease.
She playfully rolls her eyes and slaps my arm playfully. She rests her head on my shoulder, “I think I need a nap.”
I slip my arm around her, “You always need a nap.” I tease.
“Oh, hush. I like my sleep, and I won’t apologise for it. I wasn’t doing much sleep this weekend.”
I see a smirk curl on her lips. Oh, I can’t imagine what they were doing, which didn’t involve a lot of sleeping.
“You got to love a naughty weekend. Sleep should be the last thing on the list.”
“I agree. I should shower and get some washing done.” She groans, pulling away and getting to her feet.
“You get your shower. I can sort the laundry.”
“You don’t have to do that, Arlo.” She replies softly.
“I insist. Are you hungry?”
She shakes her head, “No, we had food before we left. And thank you.” She smiles, reaching down to kiss my cheek before sauntering off.
I smile. It is good to have her back. I grab her bag and take it to the laundry room to get started. I noticed the lingerie she took with her. Oh, I can imagine how much Parker loved her in those. She always looks incredible in lingerie, especially red. I hope I can get to see her in some, soon. I sort the washing into piles and put the first load on. It gives her one less thing to do. I don’t mind helping her out.

An hour had passed. Violet hadn’t returned from her shower, and Parker wasn’t back yet. I know him well enough to know that even though it was supposed to be a quick visit to work, he would end up staying for a few hours.
I head through to check on Violet. The bathroom is empty, which means she isn’t in the shower. I stop in her bedroom and find her crashed out on top of the covers in only a towel, her wet hair sprawled over the bed. I chuckle at the sight. She must have decided to lie down for a second and ended up falling asleep. I should wake her. I don’t want her getting a cold or her hair getting all tangled.
I stroll over, sit on the bed, and shake her gently, “Hey, beautiful. You fell asleep.”
She groans and swats my hand away. I shake my head and shake her again. She opens her eyes to look up at me, and she does not look happy about me waking her up.
“Why did you wake me up?” she pouts.
“Because you need to try off and dry your hair before you catch a cold. Change, and then I will let you go back to sleep.” I say softly.
She nods, slowly sitting up. She climbs off the bed and changes into some shorts and a tee. She doesn’t dry her hair properly. She brushes it and puts it into a hair tie, climbing back into bed.
“I can’t be bothered getting my hair dryer out. It takes too long.” She pouts.
“I would have done it for you.”
“Aww, sweet, but it will be fine. I won’t get sick.” She smiles and snuggles under the covers.
She pats the spot next to her, and I lie down next to her on top of the covers. I roll onto my side to face her.
“How was your weekend? Did you miss me?” she snickers.
“Uneventful, not much happened. Yes, I did.” I reply honestly.
She seems taken aback by my response, “You did?”
“Yes. I have gotten used to having you around all the time.” I laugh, trying to make sure she doesn’t get the wrong idea.
“Cute. I miss you guys, too.” She smiles.
We probably didn’t even cross her mind since she was busy. It is sweet of her to say it, though.
“You get back to sleep, sweetness. I will leave you too. I will wake you up when it is time for dinner.”
I kiss her forehead. She smiles brightly at me. I exit her room. I don’t want to disturb her again. I will wake her in an hour or two. Hopefully, Parker and Alison will return by then, and we can all have dinner together.
