“Son of a b***h!” Joel yelled as the blast of cold water hit his face and head. His breath caught and for a terrifying second, his heart stopped. “Are you crazy?” He pushed at the door, but Bryce held it shut. “It’s f*****g freezing!” “And you’re f*****g drunk,” came a reply almost as frigid as the shower spray. “Let me out of here!” His brain too fogged to simply shut off the water, Joel tried to muscle his way out of the stall. He pounded on the glass, his new suit and shoes completely ruined. “Oh, God.” Overcome by nausea, Joel bent over and spewed the last several hours of booze onto the porcelain tile.
