POV: Reece
It's early morning, and I stretch underneath Joseph's heavy body. Last night's memories flood back to me, making me smile. I can't believe Joseph and I made love. We're officially married, which makes me smile even wider.
Suddenly, the door burst open, slamming against Joseph's apartment wall.
Joseph jumps up, opening the nightstand drawer. I hurriedly grab the bedsheet to cover myself.
"Freeze, police! Don't move."
I look at the two men dressed in suits with their guns drawn at us. They don't look like Father's men. They don't look like police officers either.
Joseph raises his hands in a surrender pose and looks at the men. He relaxes, which makes me tenser.
"Knock next time," Joseph says, lowering his hands.
"Let's play this by the book," one of the men orders, point
