Alison shut the bathroom door behind her with a soft click, leaning against it for a moment as she tried to steady her breathing. Her heart was racing, and a mix of nerves and anticipation churned in her stomach. She paced the small bathroom, her steps quick and agitated, before finally stopping in front of the mirror.
