C H A P T E R 82 - Hera.

2556 Words

I shook my head at myself, wondering what had gotten into me, what had convinced me that I was going to be able to get my mind off of everything that was happening just by coming downstairs and starting to make breakfast. Truth be told, I wasn't even that good of a cook, and I didn't even have an appetite. As far as I was concerned, I was just wasting the food. But it was too late for me to stop now. Maybe Marcel would be hungry enough to eat it, despite the lack of quality cooking. I took a deep breath, closing the faucet and shaking my hands so that they would dry. I was going to have to do the dishes to clean up after myself, but that didn't concern me. It was yet another thing that I was going to do that would get the time to pass, and I had no doubt in my mind that it would pay off.
