It seemed like it took an eternity for us to make our way back to Marcels house—the very same house that we had stayed in the last time that I had been here. To be fair, that time I hadn’t been forced to walk all the way here from the hospital. And perhaps the walk wouldn’t have felt as long and torturous if Marcel was actually walking with me and talking to me like he should have.
