Beverley woke up in the middle of the night and didn’t see Brent in the bedroom. She checked his study, and he wasn’t there either. “Is he downstairs?”
She waited for a while, but Brent still didn’t come. Finally, she went downstairs. She turned on all the lights and searched for Brent.
“Is he home yet?”
