~March 26~When Bel checked herself in the mirror for the third time, Bee finally let out a groan. She’d been wondering when her sister would finally lose her patience. She knew it would happen sooner or later, but Bel just couldn’t help it. She’d never looked so good in her life. Not only that, but she had to look her best. She was going to her first ball! “Bel, save the dancing for the party,” Bee groaned. “Ball, Bee, it’s a ball. It’s not a party, it’s not an assembly, it’s a ball,” Bel said, catching her sister’s reflection in the mirror and speaking to that rather than turning around to look at her directly. “All right,” Bee sighed. “Ball, save your dancing for the ball. You’re going to tire yourself out before you even leave the house.” Bel laughed. “As if I could possibly do so!
