My body felt so heavy. I don't know if I was just feeling weak or it was the medication.
It was probably the medication because I felt no pain and my brain felt lazy. Maybe it was more like it was foggy and unresponsive than lazy.
I chuckled at the thought of a lazy brain.
Fuck, I think I am high from the pain meds.
It was like this for the last couple of days, sleeping and just lying in the hospital bed with nothing better to do. Jackson was here in the room, but he was always busy with the pack things. There were some attacks by the Moonligh pack, so he had to organize more security runs and form teams to carry them out.
Of course, it would have been easier for him to do it at his office or home, but Jackson refused to leave my side. Even at night, he sleeps in the chair
