We sat on that sofa for a few hours, until the healer came out to talk to me.
She said that Bianka's injuries were healing quite well. After they set her ribs and sewed back together one of her lungs that was damaged by one of the broken ribs, she was healing. The only thing that worried them was the swelling in her brain.
It was unusual for things like this to happen to a wolf, but we rarely get these types of injuries. Usually, it's a simple injury like a broken bone that heals on its own after being set straight and the only ones that lead us to healers are poisoning or pregnancy of children. Both of these categories were a lot more vulnerable than a grown wolf. A pregnant wolf is more like a simple human because she can't turn and the wolf inside concentrates on saving
