Jackson POV I ran after Natale for almost twenty minutes now. The weather was getting so bad that all I could think about was her being lost in those woods. I tried tracking her scent, but the rain was making it difficult. With every minute, each trace of her has disappeared, water washing it away or mixing it with scents of animals. I ran and ran, but it was like the forest was trying to keep me away. Either it was a tree falling, lightning striking right next to me, a wild animal attacking me, but I pushed through.
