My sixth sense wasn't working any longer, so just like Desmond, I stared at her speechless, but mine was worse because I was holding a pretentious bold smile.
"Liora, I have been looking all over for you!" She said with a concerned expression.
"What?" Desmond's and my jaws dropped and we remained stunned.
"Now you are here, come with me". Jenny took my hand and pulled me. I waved at Desmond awkwardly and joined her.
Isn't she lost in this whole friendship thing? I mean I voiced out my feelings so loud, she really didn't hear... anything?
I entered her apartment and she led me to the kitchen.
"Jenny... you see" I couldn't contend with my guilt any longer... I wanted to spill everything out but she stopped me pulling a wrapped box from a shopping bag.
