As I was driving to the meet spot, I was both nervous and excited. I couldn’t believe she had said yes to me. I thought she would have wanted to take it slower. I was wondering if she was going to mark me tonight. I know werewolves have to be having s*x to mark their mate. I wasn’t sure if it was the same for vampires.

I was turning into the club parking lot. I saw a dark figure sitting by the fallen tree. The figure was looking up at the stars. I knew it was Aura. I drove to pull up next to her in the parking lot. I stepped out of my car and walked over to her.

“Isn’t it beautiful.” Aura said with a big smile not taking her eyes away from the stars.

“It is beautiful. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” I said while still looking at her. She looked amazing. Her strapless dress fit her perfectly over every curvy of her body. I couldn’t stop looking at her. I was so lucky to have such a beautiful mate. Her hair was in a simple ponytail but it was long and flowing all the way down her back. Her eyes matched her dress perfectly. The green sparkling all around her making her hair look like fire.

I walked over to her and stood next to her. I held my hand out so I could help her stand up. She took my hand in hers. As soon as her hand touched mine my body filled with an electrifying feeling. It felt so good to have that feeling. I was pulled to be with her. She stood up next to me and looked at me smiling, never taking her hand out of mine.

“Are you ready to go?” I asked

“Of courses.” She simply said with a nodded

I moved to the other side of her and locked our fingers together. I started walking her to my car. She slid into the passenger seat and looked perfect in that spot like she was made to be next to me. I closed the door and started to walk to the driver's side door when I noticed Forest and Castor getting out of Castors truck. I quicked my steps to get in without being noticed.

Once I noticed they both were inside the club, I started my car and made my way out of the parking lot. I knew the drive was only 15 minutes from the club then we had a short walk in the woods to my secret spot.

This spot was my safe haven. I went there when I needed to clear my head, or when I just needed to be alone. No one but me knew about this place. I found it when I was 12. I never told anyone about it. I only wanted my mate to know about it so I was going to show her my favorite place on earth with my favorite person.

I turned into the dirt road that led to a dead end. I parked the car and got out. Aura looked confused but didn't run away. I took her hand as she got out of the car.

“So is this where you take all your girlfriends?” She asked

I was a little bit surprised by her question. Did she really want to know about past relationships? “No, I never took anyone here. This is my favorite place that I always promised that only my mate would be able to come here.” I said in a frustrated tone.

“Oh, I am sorry. I didn't mean to pry but I don't know much about you.” She said looking down.

I felt bad for giving a frustrated tone. I didn’t know if she had other relationships either or a long time lover before I came into the picture. I smiled as I walked her to the spot in the woods. As I pushed through the las bush and came to a clearing in the middle of the woods with rose bushes on one side, and a small river running along the right side. “Here we are.” I said stretching my arms out.

“This place is beautiful.” She said with her eyes wide in awe of the scene she was taking in.

I nodded proudly as we both admired the large space before use. “Can we sit?” I asked after a minute.

She sat quietly on her knees in the grass. I was glad she was not uptight and groaned about getting dirty. I sat next to her with my legs sprawled out in front of me. She looked like she wanted to say something.

“Are you okay?” I asked while I stroked her back with my left hand.

“Can we play 20 questions to get to know each other better?” she asked looking at her hands. “Of course we can.” I said with a smile.

“Can I ask you anything i want to know”

“Yes I will answer anything you ask me.”

“Did you have other long term relationships?”

I should have known that was going to be her first question. “No, I had a short term girlfriend. We broke up a year ago because I couldn't take her childish games anymore. I was never serious about her though because I knew she wasn’t my mate. What about you?”

“No but my parents want me to choose one of the other clan leader's sons as my mate. I don’t want any of them. I have a mate.” I was kinda shocked with the news she had just told me. I didn’t want anyone else with my mate.

“When do you have to make that choice?” I asked

“At my birthday party on saturday.” She said sadly

I held her tightly around the waist. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I kissed her cheek. She leaned into my chest. I loved every second of her being this close to me.

“Have you had s*x before?” She asked me while turning and looked at me.

“No, I haven't had s*x before. I wanted to wait for my mate.” I told her looking into her eyes. I knew she hadn’t had s*x with anyone either.

“Are you going to pick one of the other guys your parents want you to be with?” I asked because I was worried I might lose my mate to someone else.

“No of course not I want to be with you. We just have to come up with a plan to be marked and mated before my birthday party.” She said so casually. I was happy with her statement. I moved her to sit between my legs and leaned her back against my chest. While I still held her to me.

Two hours had gone by with us sitting and talking. I could have spent all night talking to her but we couldn't get caught or have people asking too many questions. I got up helping her up as well. As we walked back to my car in complete silence, I looked at her. She was sad to have to leave me and I was too. We got to my car and I pulled to face me and gently pushed her against my car. My lips were so close to her lips I was waiting for her to say no but she didn't say no. She tilted her head and next thing I knew my lips were on hers. I kissed so gently but strongly. I needed and wanted more of her. She kissed me the same way our lips moved in sync. When she moaned from the kissing I took the opportunity to shove my tongue in her mouth.

Our tongues fought for dominance. I could feel her fangs had popped out and it didn't bother me or stop me from kissing her. After a while, we broke the kiss, both of us were panting heavily. Our lungs were burning due to oxygen depletion.

I opened the car door. I drove her back to the fallen tree. Where I watched her run into the woods and away from me.
