I got up at 6:30 this morning as I do every morning. I had to be on the training grounds at 7am. I got up out of my bed and made my way to my bathroom to pee. I was still tired and rubbing my eyes to try and get my eyes to stay open. I knew this training session was going to be hard.

I made my way through my room to my dresser to get my shorts and a t shirt on and pull on my sneakers. I was so dreading what’s to come. I checked my phone before I headed to the door. I hadn’t received any new messages. Now I am worried that I might have been moving too fast for her.

I made my way down the stairs to front of the pack house and jogged to the training grounds a short distance away. Forest and Castor were already there stretching out along with several of the pack warriors. I made my way to one of the mats to start stretching and get ready. I was sparring with Castor today and he never took it easy on me.

“You ready for this man.” Forest said has he slapped my back. I turned to look at him “No man I am still tired from last night” I tried to play that off.

Forest just shook his head and made his way to his mat. Castor made his way over to the mat so we could start.

He got into a fighting stance and looked at me. I knew he was waiting for me to get into my fighting position. I put my left foot back and right one forward and bent my knees. Bring my closed fist up to my face.

We circled each other over and over for minute. Then as if a bomb exploded Castor started landing punches first to my face then to my ribs. He was so quick and my mind was on something else I couldn’t even counter attack him.

After he pined me for the fifth time in a row. He got off the mat and looked at me. “What is wrong with you today?” He asked. I couldn’t tell him the truth without explaining the vampire part. “I couldn’t sleep last night.” Was my fast answer so he would just think I was tired. He looked at me but didn’t say anything else as he grabbed two bottles of water out of his bag and tossed one to me. I heard my phone vibrate on the bench by the mat. I pushed myself up to my way to the bench to sit down. Being a werewolf was great for the fast healing. Without it I definitely would have been in the hospital after ass whooping I received. My ribs were still sore as I sat down.

I picked up my phone and noticed it was a text from Aura. She had finally responded to me. My mind started to race. I clicked open the message. “I would love to feed off of you, but I must tell you something first. It has been said that wolf blood could unlock special abilities in a vampire if the had any. Also it strengthens us and makes us faster. But for me to bite and feed off of you it means I would be marking you.” I read the text twice to make sure I had read it correctly. She had said yes. I also realized she had just told me she would have to mark me. I would have to his the mark from my friends and family.

The other part to the text I needed to know more about because I had never heard of werewolf blood containing anything special but it could be different to vampires. I needed to go to the library to do some research.

I started to reply when Castor came over. I put my phone down on the bench to make it seem like it was nothing important. “Are we done for today? I got to run some errands.” I said looking at Castor. He smiled and nodded “Yeah man I don’t think you could handle another beating today. Rest up I will see you in two days.” He replied. I didn’t wait for anything else to be said and grabbed my phone and ran to the pack house to head to the library.

I took my phone out and finally was able to reply back “What do you mean by abilities? Would it bother you to mark me this soon.” I hit send a place my phone in my shorts pocket. I pushed through the library doors and closed them behind me. I didn’t want to be disturbed. I started going through each section. Until I came to a book that was titled werewolf blood analysis. I pulled it off the shelf and brought it to a chair to flip through. There was a section just for vampires in his book so I jumped to that section and started reading. Aura was right werewolf blood could unlock abilities such as fire bending, levitation of oneself or objects, mind control and reading. There was so many abilities listed and why we should be scared if they ever got ahold of our blood.

I sat there thinking for a while. If she had abilities would she use them against me. Would she use them against my pack? Then those thoughts were gone as quickly as they came. I remembered she was mated to me for life so she wouldn’t hurt me.

I was ready for this next step. I took out my phone and texted her again “I would love to see you tonight. I know a place we can meet and not get caught.” I hit send and got up to walk to my room with the book under my arms. I had to change my clothes for lunch or my mother would have a fit. As I made my way to my room my phone vibrated “ Yes I think I am ready to mark you if you are ready. Sounds great where can we meet.” She replied. I quickly replied with “I am also ready I will figure out away to hide it until we have a plan to tell everyone.we can meet at the fall tree.” I knew she would understand what I was talking about. I was super nervous and excited for tonight.
