Chapter 10 We dropped Ma off and headed for an early lunch. That is to say, we headed for lunch and wound up on the football field instead. People paid good money to sit on a psychiatrist’s couch. Not surprisingly, I felt less than wonderful. “Bing went home, huh,” I replied. “Though I suppose I do have some closure now.” “Really?” I sighed as a hummingbird crisscrossed my line of vision. “No, not really, but it sounded like the right thing to say. Like I’m supposed to feel closure because this time it officially ended. He went home. And not my home, his home. End of story.”
