Six hours.
That's how long it's been since Amara removed that damn compulsion from Adrianna and she fell unconscious.
After Addy blacked out, I brought her back to her bedroom and laid her down on her bed so that she was comfortable.
At first, I sat in a chair as I held her hand in mine but then I joined her on the bed and held her close to me hoping it would help bring her out of whatever sleeping coma she's in but it didn't.
Amara said it's normal for this to happen because compulsion is a power to control someone's mind and when that compulsion is removed, it's very overwhelming for both the mind and the body, so it shuts itself down to protect itself.
