Behind The Masks Of Love

As Roshni signed the contract papers, a mix of emotions swirled within her. She felt a sense of relief that the ordeal was over, but also a sense of trepidation about what the future held. She was now bound to Ayan in a contract marriage, and she had no idea what to expect. Ayan, with a hint of satisfaction, bid her farewell, leaving her at her doorstep. Roshni watched him go, feeling a sense of uncertainty wash over her. She had no idea what Ayan's true intentions were, or what he planned to do with the contract. Vivan, who had been watching from the sidelines, approached Ayan as he walked away from Roshni's house. "Congratulations, Ayan!" Vivan said, a hint of sarcasm lacing his voice. "You've finally got what you wanted." Ayan's expression turned somber, and he slowed his pace. "I don't know, Vivan," he said, his voice low and thoughtful. "Something doesn't feel right. Is all this really necessary?" Vivan's eyes widened in surprise, and he stopped in his tracks. "Are you kidding me, Ayan?" he asked, his voice incredulous. "You've worked tirelessly for this. If you back out now, everything will fall apart." Ayan's eyes clouded, and he looked away. "I know," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I keep thinking about Roshni. She's not just a pawn in our game, Vivan. She's a person, with feelings and emotions." Vivan's expression turned skeptical. "Have you developed feelings for Roshni?" he asked, his voice laced with amusement. Ayan's face flushed, and he looked away. "No," he said, his voice firm. "I just feel guilty, that's all. We're using her for our own gain, and it doesn't feel right." Vivan's expression turned serious, and he placed a hand on Ayan's shoulder. "Ayan, we've been over this. We need Roshni's shares to take down the Inje Company. It's the only way to get justice for your father's death." Ayan's eyes flashed with determination, and he nodded. "I know," he said, his voice firm. "I just need to keep my eyes on the prize." Ayan's face contorted in disgust as he pushed aside the unwanted emotions that had been creeping up on him. "Impossible!" he spat, his voice firm and resolute. "I've done too much acting to let emotions get in the way. This is business, Vivan. Nothing more." He took a deep breath, trying to shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach. He had come too far to let his emotions get the better of him. He was a master manipulator, and he would not let his feelings cloud his judgment. Meanwhile, Roshni shared the news with her friend Harleen, her voice bubbling with excitement. "I'm meeting Ayan today, and we've planned to get married," she said, a smile spreading across her face. Harleen's eyes sparkled with surprise as she set down her coffee cup. "You sneaky thing!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with amusement. "You never told me about this. Don't you think things are moving too fast?" Roshni brushed off her concerns with a wave of her hand. "Nothing will happen," she said, her voice confident. "I'll call Ayan to confirm our plans." As she pulled out her phone and dialed Ayan's number, Harleen's expression turned serious. "Roshni, be careful," she said, her voice low and urgent. "You don't know much about Ayan. What if he's not what he seems?" Roshni's eyes sparkled with amusement as she waited for Ayan to answer. "Don't worry, Harleen," she said, her voice reassuring. "I can take care of myself." But as she waited for Ayan to answer, a faint sense of unease crept up on her. What if Harleen was right? What if Ayan was not what he seemed? She pushed the thoughts aside, telling herself she was being paranoid. But the seed of doubt had been planted, and it would continue to grow until she uncovered the truth about Ayan. As Roshni dialed Ayan's number, the phone rang, but Ayan refused to answer. He looked at the screen, seeing Roshni's name flashing on the display, but he didn't flinch. "I've got what I wanted," he thought to himself, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. "Why bother with her now?" He tossed the phone aside, his mind already focused on the next step in his plan. He had the contract, and he had the shares. Now, it was time to take down the Inje Company and claim his revenge. Roshni's voice echoed through the phone, "Mahir, why aren't you answering my calls?" Her tone was laced with concern and frustration, but Ayan didn't care. He was too busy celebrating his victory to worry about Roshni's feelings. As the phone continued to ring, Roshni's anxiety grew. She had expected Ayan to answer, to confirm their plans and reassure her that everything was okay. But now, she was starting to feel a sense of unease. What if something had happened to Ayan? What if he had changed his mind? She tried calling again, but Ayan's phone went straight to voicemail. Roshni's heart sank, and she felt a sense of panic rising up inside her. What was going on? Why wasn't Ayan answering her calls? As she stood there, phone in hand, Roshni couldn't shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong. She had a sense of foreboding, a feeling that her life was about to take a dramatic turn. And she was right.
