They picked Keegan up at daycare after that, though Cade had wished that he could talk to Rose first. He couldn't until they put Keegan in bed. Once again, Keegan seemed to sense that something was going on and took his time getting to bed. “Keegan, it's past your bedtime. You've gotten your story. Go to sleep," Rose said, some frustration in her voice. She voiced what Cade was feeling. Now that he'd decided to reveal himself to Rose, he wanted to do it as soon as possible.
