They continued walking until it was past dark time, Carlos made their camp. Anabel and Misty went and got the wood, Misty started the fire with her magic. Carlos returned a short time later with dinner.
“Finally.” Anabel said rubbing her hands together, her stomach growled, she couldn’t wait to bite into the rabbit.
“Hungry are we?” Carlos said putting the rabbit on the fire. “It’s going to be a while, why not check your bag for any food?” he said pointing to her bag. “I put some in there while you ate breakfast.”
Anabel looked in her bag, Carlos was right there were some grains and stuff she could eat that would help until dinner was done. “Thanks Carlos, you’re always looking out for me.” She half smiled at him.
