Anabel wanted Drake to help her, but she wasn’t sure how she could convince him. Looking at him, she wanted to try and seduce him, but that wouldn’t get her out of there without the magic being down. She knew she couldn’t play Dremis, so Drake had to be the one. “Why not get me something to eat.” She said folding her arms. “I’m starving.”                         “Alright.” Drake half smiled at her. “I can do that, is there anything you’d like special?” he walked closer to the door. “Or do you want a surprise?”                         “Whatever.” She half-smiled at me. “Just make it something yummy.” Drake left the room.                     Anabel didn’t want to sleep with Drake again, but she was hoping he would help her convince Dremis he didn’t need to lock the door, and she could roam around without him worrying about her escaping. Anabel knew it was a risk, but she needed to get out of there, and back to where Heaven knows where she is.                     Closing her eyes, the only plan she could think of was taking her clothes off, shaking her head Drake brought in a tray of food. “It’s nothing special, but it should be good.” He said setting the tray down on the bed. “I’m glad we don’t have to eat human food.” He said shaking his head.                     “Why not?” she said taking a bite of the food. “It’s good.” She half-smiled at him. “You should try some?” she said holding the fork up so he could take a bite if he wanted to.                     Drake took a bite of the food, he didn’t like it. “I’d watch out for her Drake,” Dremis said coming into the room. “She’s trying to play you.” He said stopping in front of Anabel. “You are smart, but I’m smarter.” He said looking down at her. “I would be careful if I were you.” He said looking at Drake.                         “Sorry, Dremis.” Drake backed away from Anabel. “It won’t happen again.”                     Dremis looked at Drake. “It better not, you have feelings for this Angel, it’s going to get you killed.” He said shaking his head at Drake.                     Drake didn’t say anything, he knew Dremis was right. He was one of those demons that wanted to do bad but it wasn’t entirely that bad. He wanted to go to Heaven and experience all of the things humans do, but he knew that was something he couldn’t ever have.                     Turning his attention back to Anabel, “so it seems your team is looking for you, but-“ he stopped for a moment. “I have Carlos, and if you’re interested follow me.” He motioned for her to follow him with his finger.                         Anabel looked at Drake, he didn’t move from his spot. “How do I know this isn’t another one of your tricks?” she said getting off the bed and following him out into the hallway.                     Dremis turned around, “you don’t.” he said walking away from her. “But I know you want to see for yourself if I do have Carlos.” He said turning disappearing into one of the rooms down from hers.                     Anabel wanted to know what he was doing, whether or not it was a trick. She had to know if Carlos was there and if he was okay. Taking a step towards the door, Drake walked past her. She leaned up against the wall for a moment, her heart raced faster and faster.                     Taking a breath, she walked towards the room. Her body trembled as she took the final step into the doorway. Looking in a man was tied to a chair, she couldn’t see his face.                     “Come on in Anabel,” Dremis said walking towards the door. “I want you to witness firsthand what my magic will do to you once your three days are up.” He said forcing her down into a chair a few feet away from the man. “Sit.” He said walking towards the man. “I’ve been weakening him for a while now, just so we don’t have any fighting issues.”                     Anabel wanted to see his face; she wanted Dremis to pay if that was Carlos. “I can’t even see his face, how do I know it’s him?” she challenged.                         Dremis grabbed his hair, pulling his head up so Anabel could see it. “Better?” he growled. “Now I must do this ritual to prove to you.” He said letting go of Carlos’ hair, his face dropped back down.                         “Carlos!” she whined, running over to him and hugging him. “They said you were safe.” She whispered, but he didn’t respond.                     Dremis grabbed Anabel, throwing her back into the chair. “Stay put Ms. Knight otherwise I’ll use this spell on you now.” He said looking back at Carlos. “Now we shall begin.”                         Drake walked closer to Anabel, he waited for instructions from Dremis. He started the ritual, Anabel tried not listening to the words she wasn’t sure if that was how the spell worked. Closing her eyes she prayed this was some kind of trick, and Carlos wasn’t here in front of her.                         “Done,” Dremis said looking at Anabel. “Aw what’s the matter you didn’t listen to the words did you?” he said walking away from Carlos. “It’s okay this is just a test anyway, once I know if it works I think I’ll destroy him,” Dremis said looking back at Carlos. “Are you alive Carlos?” he said kneeling.                     “Yes, Master.” Carlos said lifting his head, his eyes met Dremis’.                         “Good.” He said looking back at Anabel. “So Carlos your first test is to watch over Anabel while I finish doing what I need to.” He said looking back at Carlos.                         “I understand.” He said getting to his feet. “Where would you like me to take her?” he said looking at Dremis, his eyes never left his face.                         “Take her back to her room; make sure she doesn’t get out,” Dremis said putting his hand on Carlos. “I expect you to obey me, and make sure she does not escape.”                     “Yes, Master,” Carlos said.                         Dremis walked out of the room, Anabel didn’t move from her spot. She tried to see if Carlos was really under Dremis’ control, or if this was some kind of trick, and he would disappear in front of her. “Let’s go.” He said grabbing her arm and yanking her down the hallway. “You are a pet, you need to be locked away.” He said throwing her into the room, she fell to the ground. “Stay.” He said turning around and walking out the door, he closed it and locked it.                         “Carlos!” she called, but the door remained closed. “Please, Carlos! Open the door we have to talk, please!”                         Leaning against the door, Dremis brought Carlos here but didn’t allow her to be with him. He brainwashed him, and now she was worried Carlos would do anything Dremis said including hurting their team.                         Closing her eyes, she thought more about Misty, she wished she was already there. She wanted to be back in the forest, playing games and picking herbs. She didn’t want to be locked in a room by herself and have Carlos there but he doesn’t even hear her.                         Getting off the floor, Anabel laid in bed. She wanted to try meditating, just to see where it would take her. She didn’t believe in going somewhere without your body, but she was hopeful. Breathing in and out, she felt like her body was getting lighter and lighter. She felt at peace for a moment before her entire body relaxed.                         Anabel felt like she stayed there for hours, and didn’t feel like she was anywhere else but in that small room. Opening her eyes, she looked around. Forest surrounded her, it felt right. Sitting up, she looked around she didn’t know where she was, but she knew she wasn’t with Dremis.                         “Hello, Anabel.” A young girl came into view. She stayed far enough away, but walked closer to Anabel could see her. “My name is Emily, I am your dream guide, and I will teach you something or many things, depending on what you feel you want to learn.” She said sitting on a rock near Anabel.."
