Aurora quickly realized that Diego was trying to kiss her, and she swiftly evaded his touch.
"Diego, forgive me, but do not think that there can be anything more than friendship between us," she said, a little embarrassed.
"I know you still love William, but perhaps over time, you can forget him. From the first time I saw you, I knew you were going to be important in my life," Diego said, confessing his feelings.
"I'm sorry, but I can't think of another relationship right now," she said.
Aurora was firm with her words.
After making her position clear, she went back to work. She sat behind her desk and tried to put Diego's words behind her.
