That was how Aurora ended up being married to the man who despises her the most. She lives in a hopeless marriage, where every day she is reminded that she must pay for all the pain she caused her family.
Back to Present.
After Aurora picked up the tray and cleaned up the mess William had made, she went to her room to continue crying bitterly.
Her husband had trapped her in a loveless marriage and a hopeless life. The light at the end of the tunnel was fading, indicating that she had no possibility of escape.
All of a sudden, William entered the room, quickly undressing to take a shower. Aurora was speechless, she simply became terrified at that moment. A few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, and forcefully made Aurora stand up from the bed.
"What's wrong with you, William?" she asked, filled with dread.
"Right now, I want you to take off your clothes and lay on the bed," he demanded, throwing her onto the bed.
Aurora was stunned by what William was asking her. In all these years, he had never asked her for such a thing. He always made her feel disgusting and reminded her that she was immaterial.
"I told you to undress, or do you want me to do it for you?" he asked with a hateful look.
Aurora knew it was better for her to undress herself. So slowly she began to undress in front of William. Her beautiful body was perfect, even William couldn't stop looking at her from head to toe.
Once she was down to her underwear, William threw her into the bed and tried to kiss her lips, but she refused, moving her lips away. Even though she loved him, she wasn't going to be an active participant in his a***e of her body.
"From now on, I will do whatever I want with your body," he said with a sarcastic laugh.
‘My body may be yours, and you can use it however you want, but I will not kiss your lips.' She said as a tear rolled down her cheek onto the bed.
William did not care, he only wanted to see Aurora suffer every day of her life, he wanted to make her life miserable and was succeeding. He went ahead to have his way with her, not minding if she was hurt.

Aurora usually woke up very early to prepare breakfast for her husband, because the table had to be ready before he came downstairs from his room, every morning. However, today she was up later than usual. She didn't know it was past her normal waking time, and William came down while she was still cooking.
‘Why isn't breakfast ready?’ He asked in a harsh tone.
Since Aurora wasn’t expecting him at the moment, the scare from his sudden appearance made her cut her finger with the knife she was using, causing her to bleed a lot.
William saw her bleeding and quickly searched for a towel to cover her wound, went to a drawer in the kitchen and took out a first aid kit. Without saying a word, he helped her treat the small cut and bandaged it.
‘Truly Aurora, you are useless, you can't even cut a tomato properly.’ William mocked.
“You startled me because I wasn’t expecting you to appear so suddenly.’ she said, a little intimidated.
‘Serve me breakfast, I have to go to the company,’ he replied. He walked to the table and took a seat. A few minutes later, Aurora served him breakfast.
‘William, here is your breakfast.’ Aurora said.
‘Don't expect me to thank you because I won't. By the way, tonight I need you to accompany me to a business meeting, so endeavor to dress properly, not that it would make any difference even if you dress like a queen, you will still be unattractive.’ he said. William knew perfectly well how to destroy Aurora's self-esteem.
Aurora went to the kitchen to have breakfast. She was f*******n to sit at the same table as him. William thought she had no right to be at his level.
‘Aurora, I told you to let me make breakfast’ said Vicky, the housekeeper.
‘I have to do it because William asked specifically for me to do it.’ she replied, looking down.
‘But I told you I could do it, and he won't even notice.’
‘Don't worry, Vicky, at least it serves as a distraction for me.’ Aurora responded.
After making sure that William had left for work, Aurora grabbed her purse and headed to the store.
She wasn't going to let William's words make her feel worthless, so she went to shop for a beautiful dress for the outing.
By nightfall, William returned from the office to prepare for the event. He was waiting for her impatiently, pacing back and forth, until Aurora's voice stopped him.
‘William, I'm ready now.’ she said as she descended the stairs. William didn't respond, but he meticulously examined his wife's appearance. Aurora was wearing a tight red dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, she truly looked like a beautiful queen.
‘We can go now’ she said.
William didn't even have the courtesy to offer her his arm. He even got into the car without opening the door for her to get in.
‘You should behave like an exemplary wife’ were his only words.
They finally arrived at the business party where everyone was looking elegant, and Aurora felt good because she knew she had chosen the right outfit.
‘Good evening, Mr. Dexter, I see you're accompanied by a very beautiful lady." Said one of his business associates.
‘Good evening, this is my wife Aurora.’ he replied politely.
‘Nice to meet you, Miss Aurora, you are welcome.’ the man greeted her.
‘The pleasure is mine.’ Aurora replied, a bit shy.
Several people approached William to chat with him. He was truly intelligent, and many people wanted to hear him speak.
‘You are a great entrepreneur, William. Who would have thought that a venture in telecommunication technology would make you so wealthy?’ Another man asked, making the others laugh.
‘What do you think about that? I imagine you know nothing about telecommunication.’ the businessman asked Aurora directly.
Aurora looked at him and smiled. They assumed she was ignorant about her husband's line of business. To them, she looked like the typical 'beauty without a brain' kind of woman.
