Calista’s POV
The maiden gown is still what I am wearing as I make my way through the corridor of the palace.
When I bolted out the castle aisle, I had no idea which direction to turn to. The palace is so huge and since I’m still new here, I’m not yet familiar with its corridors, layout, corners, as well as its rooms.
I tried looking for Mellisandrei to ask for her guidance, but unfortunately, she wasn’t there anymore. She probably left the castle aisle before the night of choosing could even start.
My eyes darted on one of the guards right in the end corner. They are standing firmly, observing each and every one that passes through in front.
Well, by this time I think Prince Alex must be waiting for me already. It would be easy for me to locate his room by asking questions with these guards.
They immediately snapped their heads toward me when I approached them. I gave them a small and polite smile. Their faces are fully covered with a metal mask so I couldn’t clearly recognize them.
Well, I really wouldn’t though. I don’t know them at all.
“What do you need?” One of the guards asked, his voice was low but strong.
“I just want to ask for directions about Prince Alex’s ro–”
I was cut off when a buzzer rang in this corner of the palace.
“There are rebels! There are rebels in the east! Red alert for the whole palace!”
All the guards in this area ran to the east with their swords. Some already transformed into their werewolves forms, leaving me completely alone.
What should I do now? Mellsiandrei was nowhere to be found, the guards are busy protecting the palace, and I am a newbie to this huge palace and unaware of the exact location of Prince Alex’s room.
I parted my lips to let out a deep sigh. I don’t have a choice but to look for it myself, then, letting my feet decide the path that I’m taking until I reached a room in the dead end corner.
“I just hope this is the right room,” I whispered to myself before knocking on the wooden door.
I expected that I would wait for long minutes before the door would open, but then it gracefully welcomed me on its own. I was a bit certain it was Prince Alex’s room, its extravagance is enough proof of it.
Mellisandrei’s voice came in my head as I remembered all her suggestions on how to be a w***e.
She said that when you enter your owner’s room, he would be delighted even more if he sees you naked. So I entered the royal room by just me wearing a tiny sheet of fabric, under it was my naked body, leaving my maiden-gown outside the room.
The door closed automatically the moment I entered, bringing me a bit of shock in the nerve. I wasn’t used to any of this, the rooms and houses in the Omega area were like rooms and houses for pigs in the palace.
“I was lost at first, thanks to my instinct I still managed to find your room myself, my Prince.” I smiled as I sauntered up behind him, letting the only fabric I wear slip through my body when I almost near him. “It is true you have a beautiful face, my Prince. Some say you treat your whores better than others treat theirs. The reason why I’m so delighted it was me you chose in spite of the other having beautiful faces offered at your table. I’m innocent in these things but I pledge to keep your bed warm as much as you want me to.”
Prince Alex was still on his back when I neared him. My smiles reached from my right to left ear but they flew away instantly along the air when the man I’m glaring into snapped at me.
He is not Prince Alex.
“I’m afraid you’ve mistaken my room for the Prince, my lady.” His eyes raked over my body as he drank wine from his royal glass. I wanted to run back and take the sheet fabric to cover my body again but I felt my knees weaken with how intense he was looking at me.
He is not the Prince. He is the Alpha King Jacob—Alpha of the Moonlight Throne and King of all the thrones in the wilding forest.
His gaze was already fixed in my eyes, yet I still felt it roaming over my body.
“I-I’m sorry, Your grace. I didn’t mean to invade your privacy.” I bowed down to avoid his eyes. They were just pierced, and hot, and glaring. His stares could make anyone tremble in their knees.
“Apology accepted. So you are my son’s new w***e? The one he has taken on the night of choosing.” The sound of his footsteps drew nearer.
I nodded my eyes, keeping my head bowed down. “Yes, Your grace.”
He stopped right in front of me, lifted my head with his index finger, then our eyes met.
“You have fair skin and a beautiful face, my lady. No one would think you have bruises on your skin.” The King Alpha said, and I was shocked that he was able to see through it.
Yes, it was evident. But the room is dark and it was quite hard to spot them in this state of scenario.
Well, he’s the Alpha King after all. He’s got power a werewolf under him doesn’t have.
“Just some accidents from where I came from, Your grace. It was a place full of chaotic, unstructured and unfinished houses and constructions that are prone to accidents. Unfortunately, I was one who was bruised by a piece of wood, Your grace.” I then laughed softly.
He squinted his eyes then walked past me. The Alpha King draped the tiny fabric sheet over my shoulders.
“Thank you, Your grace.” I bit my lower lip when his hands remained on my shoulders.
“I already told the Prince he should lay his hands off from whores. He is meant to marry the heiress of the Red Blood Throne, and yet here he was choosing you as his whore.”
He turned me around to face him. My boobs were exposed and so his eyes went down on them.
“Maybe the Prince still wanted to enjoy his young life, Your grace. Everyone knows that once he is married, he is off to lay a hand on other women to keep his vow and promise to his wife in the eyes of the Moon Goddess.” I said, smiling a bit to him just enough to delight the Alpha King without taking off my respect for him.
He touched my neck and I craned mine to give him more access, swept my hair away, leaving my neck bare before him.
“Everyone must follow my orders, do you agree?” The Alpha King whispered, his fingers tracing the space between my shoulder and neck.
My chest tightened and the only thing I knew to breathe out was if I parted my lips and breathe through my mouth.
“Yes, Your grace. You are above all, your words are as powerful as your name.” I said, every word slipping through my mouth are well-thought of.
The Alpha King smiled mischievously at me. “Then starting tonight, the Prince no longer owns you, my lady. You will serve me instead until I say otherwise.”
I gulped the lump in my throat as I nodded, excitement filled through my system. “It’s an honor to serve you, Your grace. I proudly accept the offer.”
His fingers on my neck glided down through my chest—a soft moan escaped my lips—to my stomach which his fingers drew circles on it, down to my womanhood.
I touched his arm for support as he caressed me down there, then I heard him chuckle in my ear.
“You will serve me as a servant, my lady. Not a whore.”
What the hell?
