The class started ,it was the first day when I was the one not answering during the classes ,after all the three periods it was time for recess ,I went near the wash basin to clean my hands before eating ,co -incidentally I met Rishav there I really wanted to know what happened once I left the party as I was damn sure about that ,that he must be having the idea about that because he was still there when I left and the most important thing which I want to know is that is he angry with me or what .

“Hey “ I said hoping a positive response from his side .

“Hi “ his tone was plain . I was unable to get that , what exactly he is thinking so instead of beating around the bush I thought its going to be better if we talk it out .

“Hey can we talk after you have your tiffin “.

“Yeah sure “. He said and went to his friends group .

I was happy that at least he didn’t denied my request . I went to my place and hurriedly had my tiffin so that Rishav doesn’t needs to wait for me to complete it .

“Ria don’t eat this fast you will choke “. Disha was these days not asking me much about my whereabouts as she knows that if I face a emotional breakdown I wont be able to handle it .

“No I am in a hurry dear so please don’t worry I won’t “.

Once I was done I hinted him to come outside in the corridor . I was surprised that he was done before me .

“Yes Ria now tell me what you wanted to “.

I took a deep breathe and started with what I wanted to .

“Rishav can you tell me what happened last night after I left the party .”

“Are you sure you want to know it because it’s better you don’t “.

“Yes I want to “. I don’t know what he has to say but it’s better I know rather than I overthink .

“So when you left almost half of the guests got an idea that what exactly the problem is between you and Atul is and just because of your impulsive behavior it was obvious that Uncle and Aunt will question Atul about the whole scenario so I guess they did too “.

“One second do you know what his parents told him or asked or what his reply was .”

“Umm no I don’t know that actually how will I know that because they are not like you to create a chaos in front of everyone and call their son you brat you like her ,you locked yourself in the washroom for her ,she slapped and all “ . Even though it was more of like a taunt but his tone was sarcastic which made me laugh ,this newly made friend of mine never leaves a chance to bring smile on my face .

“is there anything else to it ? “

“Yup there is I don’t know about what your parents have told you or not “. One second did he mentioned my parents it means for sure my parents got in touch with his to get the matter sort out because as much I know them just because of this like and all case they won’t cut off contacts with them ,I became desperate like anything to know the whole scenario.

“Please tell me everything you know without wasting a single minute “.

“So after all of this chaos about I guess half an hour later your father came back to the party “. When I heard that my father went to the party back , my blood started boiling with anger that why what was the need of going there .

He could see the sudden change in my impulse that how impulsive I turned on the mention of my dad .

“Hey Ria do you know this is what your problem is if I am telling you something before even getting an idea of the whole situation you start getting angry means just see yourself what you are doing or you do now calm down or forget that I am telling you something “.

He was so right ,I took long deep breathes and calmed myself down .

“He say I swear I won’t be impulsive or angry “.

“ So when your father came to the party he was angry like anything but he was still trying not to show it up , I guess Atul’s parents already knew he was coming because when he came they took him inside their house what chit -chat they had I don’t know ,its better you ask your parents about it all I know that when they came out everything was sorted between them because they was laughing and all “.

I was shocked like anything with the piece of information I got ,two scenes flashed in front of my eyes one in which I was crying in my mother’s lap the second one where my father was laughing with them ,I am just feeling pathetic for the first time I am feeling like how to react because I want explanation of all the thing why ? how ? everything .

“Hey Ria are you okay ?”

“Yes I am now “.

“Hey please don’t be like this ,you know that you can tell me everything anyways first tell me what triggered you yesterday that you became that impulsive and yes if you want to know what the adult talked then ask your parents calmly they will let you know “.

I didn’t wanted to tell him the real scenario because for sure it was all my mistake and I didn’t knew that how on earth he will react like after knowing everything but still it’s better I be honest to him and not hide anything from him .

“Actually I was searching my mom to ask her if we can leave or not then only I saw her with aunt they were talking and I overheard them where aunt wanted me to date Atul and my mom agreed to it that triggered me like anything that how could they decide who I will pair with so you know it very well what I did right ?”

“I am just unable to believe that what goes inside the psyche of our adults “.

“One second this is not actually the truth , in reality my mother wanted to deny the request of aunt but before she could I cut her off and did all the chaos “.

“Ria , I will tell you only one thing that girl try to control yourself and if you cannot just leave that place because every time you create a scene and then saying a sorry sounds so worthless man ,you are just putting your image down why because of a guy is into you ,it is his problem not yours Ria ,learn to handle things “.
