It was the next school week and Ceejay couldn't wait to have his next English class, thoughts of Miss Iris had been on his mind so much.
The class Ceejay had been anticipating so much for finally came to be and he decided to be on his best impressive and smart behavior.
''Good morning ma'', the class roared
'' Morning guys, how are you all doing today?''..Miss Iris said
''We are fine ma..thank you'' , they all replied
'' Okay let's get seated. Where did we stop in last class?'' she asked
After a long silence she said '' No one!!?'...okay you there'' pointing at Ceejay who was sitting at the front of the class.
''Ma our last topic was Grammatical names and their functions''...Ceejay said
''What a nice memory you've got dear, I had a feeling none of you would remember because we didn't take notes. Keep it up, you look new what's your name please?'' Miss Iris asked
''I'm Clifford Junior'' Ceejay replied
''CJ for short right?''Miss Iris asked
'' Yea but I spell mine as C-E-E-J-A-Y..just to be unique'' he said with a smile
''Alright then'' she replied
''A sound clap for Ceejay class!'' Miss iris said
They all clapped and the rest of the class went on smoothly with Ceejay still lost in thoughts for his English teacher and also trying to be focused .
At the end of the class Miss Iris asked for Ceejay to see her on her way out
''Young man you were quite impressive in my class today, I hope u keep it up''
''Sure thing ma'' Ceejay replied
'' Alright Ceejay I hope you enjoy your stay here, I'm also new here, came here just the last term'' she said
'' Ooh that's nice and the students know you quite well already'' he replied
'' I guess it's because of my Joviality I guess'' Miss Iris replied with a soft chuckle.
'' Me myself have always been so Jovial as a senior and all'' Ceejay said
''Hmm let's just try not to make them take it for granted right?'' she asked
'' Yea definitely''' he replied
By this time Ceejay had already escorted Miss Iris down to the Staff room when she said..'' Alright dear take care, this school is quite tough and and stressful though, I saw your results in your past school.. quite impressive, just keep it up or rather do better''
Ceejay said, '' Thank you ma''
''You're welcome'' she said
'' I hope to get to know you better ma, you're a nice person'' Ceejay said
'' let's see dear'' she replied
'' Enjoy your day'' Miss Iris said to Ceejay
''You too ma'', Ceejay replied
And they both smiled and turned to their destinations, but Ceejay kept on smiling till he got to his class.
