002: THE TWIST IN THE TALE

Abby Jezz woke up with her hands tied behind her back and sitting on the side. She looked around, this place is unfamiliar to her, smelly, and dark.
"Release the girl. The Alpha will talk to her. "
Abby Jezz heard the words from outside and then a gate rang. The surroundings became bright. The light was approaching her, so she closed her eyes to pretend that she was unaware of the current situation. It was a good thing she liked to put her mobile phone on silent mode.
Jezz thought she could pretend but it turned out she couldn't.
"Awtch!!" she was shock, to feel the pain when one of the men who pick her up suddenly slapped her face.
"Don't touch me!" Abby Jezz screamed. But the two men is careless, insensitive and disrespectful. They both laughed and even mock her, using their own languages. They drag her out of the room, until Abby Jezz recognize Linda.
"Abby Jezz?!" the old woman Linda called. Her face with scar shows up, her eyes dry in tears.
Linda was totally shock, when she saw Jezz came out in the room with the two human-wolf. But Jezz can't talk because there's a pieces of cloth covering her mouth now.
There are seven elders in the area, ten middle age and the other young is the same age with Abby Jezz who's watching her walking in the center of the crowd. The area is likely and old house of the legendary folks. They are using coconut oil for their lamp. She can smell also that most of them is human-wolf like her. Except Linda who tied up in the sofa-bed with a man seemed to be the leader, or the Alpha of this Pack.
"Welcome home, princess! You have a beautiful name. Abby Jezz. That is fit to be the Luna of this Pack." An elderly man said, he seated at the front of the gathering commanded attention with his imposing presence. His skin, a rich shade of brown, bore the marks of time, telling stories of a life well-lived. His physical state resembled like a warrior, exuding strength and resilience. Flowing locks of long hair cascaded down his shoulders, while a thick beard framed his weathered face, further emphasizing his age and wisdom. The combination of these features not only highlighted his advanced years but also served as a testament to the experiences he had accumulated throughout his life
This man is crazy, what is he talking about? - Jezz talking to herself.
"I know you were confuse, but we are here to help you. You should be blessed and to be known on this village, that you! you are my long lost daughter?!" the man in the center said.
Abby Jezz turned her attention at Linda, her expression filled with confusion, she didn't understand why he called her as his daughter. In that moment, a memory surfaced from her conversation with Andrie, who had mentioned a man searching for his daughter, a child taken away by his wife. The pieces began to fall into place as Abby realized that the narrative Andrie had shared was indeed about Linda, who was identified as the wife, and Tagi, the child being sought. However, the twist in the tale was that Abby Jezz had inadvertently become the person mistaken for the daughter in this complex web of relationships.
"Let her talk!" Linda requested. Then the Alpha nod as he approve her request. One of the men move and remove the piece of cloth from Abby Jezz mouth.
"Ay! I am not your daughter!"Abby Jezz burst out. Everyone fell silent and just stared at her, believing that what they heard from her wasn't true.
"A mother always knows her child, untie her!" one of the elder woman said. She’s covered in tattoos from head to toe, her hair has a muddy look, and her eyes shine like meteors, a testament to her many years, living on earth.
The Alpha stood up and suddenly strangled Linda by the neck then said, "Tell them Linda, that this is our child, she, is my daughter!"
After he spoke, his wolf demeanor gradually emerged. Abby Jezz felt the intensity of how he could change his form with anger, rather than just with desire. In the next seconds, Abby Jezz hears the growling of other wolves that surrounds her.
While Linda was crying and moaning in pain caused by the tight strangulation on her. Abby Jezz find another a way.
"How can I prove that you are my real father, if you are hurting my mother?" Abby Jezz suddenly said. She saw how the said Alpha was strangling Linda, so she thought of a way to get her out of his abusive hands.
The Alpha violently let go of Linda's neck and pushed her to the side. He turned his attention to Abby Jezz and he came closer. The Alpha smelled Abby Jezz's hair and her back, a sign that he needed to know if Abby Jezz was his daughter or not.Then he asked, "How old are you now?"
"Eight teen"
"What Pack are you belong?" his second question.
"I have no one. I have no family out there." Abby Jezz said. She is afraid to admit the truth.
Just like what happened to Linda, the Alpha suddenly grabbed Abby Jezz neck, and said, "Do you really think you can trick me? You already have your 'marked' one, someone else owns you. I want to meet him. But not this time!" The Alpha whispered menacingly in her ear, using threats to make his point.
Abby Jezz is feeling a bit lost about how to respond. All she's thinking now is that her best decision to keep herself safe from everyone, including Linda.
"Dear Alpha, in my opinion, that girl is new to our area. We need to verified her behavior, find out if she is really your daughter. And also her weakness. So that our investigation can be safe" one of the male elder suggested.
"That's right, we shouldn't make the mistake of accepting a member, it should be of her own free will to join us, and not by forced" other male elder also commented.
"If she is the one, we have no problem with that. All what we need to do, is to test her. If we found out that she is fake, then kill her!" the eldest female human-wolf said.

As Abby Jezz endured the pain in her throat, her blood slowly boiling, her wolf began to evolve in anger. With her natural strength, she was able to break the bonds in her hand and fight the Alpha.
"grrrr" Abby Jezz wolf growled.
Abby Jezz managed to snag the Alpha's arm with her sharp just after it dodged her attack. The Alpha put some distance between them, then Abby Jezz called out, after she returned to her human form again.
"First of all, I have done nothing wrong to all of you, for you to punish me. Secondly, I do not know you and you do not know me. So you have no right to judge Me! and hurt Me as you want!"
"You are trying to kill the Alpha!" one of middle age male human-wolf step in. He want to avenge what she did to their Alpha's arm. Quickly he changed its wolf form and ran towards Abby Jezz' position. But its attack was in vain because Abby Jezz quickly jumped into the air. The wolf spun and its attention returned to Abby Jezz and it attacked her again with its sharp teeth and claws in its whole wolf form.
Abby Jezz didn't returned to her wolf form, instead she is using her full strength to fight back at him. But the time she ran, their Alpha arrived at the right time between the two of them, then he slapped Abby Jezz face. It's is the Alpha's hubby, to kill.
"Let's fight in fair!" Abby Jezz announced.
Out of the blue, Abby Jezz found herself ensnared by the other male human-wolf, caught in a thick silver net. They wrapped her up tightly, leaving her with no chance of escape. With no way out, she was quickly taken back to a cold, stinky cell.
"Let me out of here!!" Abby Jezz screamed and cried. But nobody's listening to her.
