THREAD OF FATE
CHAPTER 20
At Williams Fashion Home, the atmosphere was buzzing with activity as everyone prepared for the upcoming fashion show. Tylor walked into the office, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on Liza, who was sitting at her desk, sketching away.
"Good morning, Liza," Tylor said, flashing his famous smile. "How are you doing today?"
Liza looked up, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "I'm doing fine, thank you, sir."
Tylor chuckled. "And thanks for honoring my call yesterday. I had a great time."
Liza smiled, her cheeks flushing slightly. "You're welcome, Tylor. Anytime."
As they chatted, Tylor's eyes wandered to Liza's desk, where her sketchbook lay open. He walked over to take a closer look, his eyes widening in awe.
"Wow, Liza, these designs are incredible," Tylor exclaimed. "You're so talented."
Liza blushed, looking pleased. "Thank you, Mr Tylor.
Just then, Tylor remembered something. "Oh, before I forget, the chairman wants to see you."
Liza's expression changed to one of concern. "Am I in trouble?"
Tylor reassured her with a smile. "No, you're not in trouble. I'm sure it's just a routine meeting."
Unbeknownst to Liza, Tylor was the heir to the Williams Fashion Home empire. She had no idea that she was about to meet the chairman, who just happened to be Tylor's father.
As they made their way to the chairman's office, Sonia spotted them from across the hall. Her eyes narrowed, her mind racing with schemes to take Liza down.
Sonia muttered to herself, "Enjoy it while it lasts, Liza. I'll make sure you don't steal the spotlight for long."
Meanwhile, Tylor and Liza arrived at the chairman's office. Tylor introduced Liza to his father, who welcomed her warmly.
"Ah, Miss Liza, it's a pleasure to finally meet you," Mr. Cole said, his eyes twinkling with kindness. "My mother has been raving about your talent."
Liza smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thank you, sir.
As they chatted, Mr. Cole dismissed Liza, thanking her for coming. As she and Tylor were about to leave the office, Mr. Cole called out to Tylor, "Tylor, don't forget to come home early today. We have something to discuss."
Tylor frowned, wondering what his father wanted to talk about. "Okay, sir."
Liza's eyes narrowed in curiosity. "What's going on?" she murmured to herself.
As they stepped out of the chairman's office, Liza's lips parted to ask Tylor a question. But before she could speak, Tylor's voice cut in.
"I know what you're going to ask," Tylor said with a knowing smile. "Yes, I'm the chairman's son. My full name is Tylor Williams."
Liza's eyes widened in shock. "Why didn't you tell me? You kept this from me all along."
"I'm sorry for not being honest with you sooner," Tylor said, his eyes sincere. "To be honest, I've always felt like people treat me differently because of my family's status. I just wanted to be able to make genuine friends, without everyone fawning over me because of my name."
Tylor shrugged, looking sheepish. "I didn't want you to treat me differently. I wanted us to be friends without the baggage of my family name."
Liza looked hurt, but Tylor could see the forgiveness in her eyes. "I understand, but it's not fair to me. I feel like I've been disrespecting you all along."
Tylor chuckled. "You haven't been disrespecting me, Liza. You've been treating me like a normal person, and that's all I ever wanted."
Liza smiled, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "I forgive you, Tylor. But next time, don't keep secrets from me."
Tylor grinned, feeling relieved. "I promise, Liza. No more secrets."
As they walked back to their respective offices, Liza turned to Tylor with a mischievous glint in her eye.
"By the way, Tylor, now that I know you're the Williams' grandson, I'm going to have to start calling you 'Your Highness'."
Tylor laughed, You can call me whatever you want, Liza. Just don't stop being my friend."
