THREAD OF FATE
CHAPTER 25
Today marked the highly anticipated fashion show at Williams Fashion Home, and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was bustling with excitement, busy with last-minute preparations. Liza walked into her office, her new designs meticulously laid out on a rack. Her office members were astonished by her creations, exclaiming in unison.
"Wow! Miss Liza, this is so beautiful, more than the one you first made!" one of them exclaimed. The others nodded in agreement, their eyes wide with admiration.
Just then, Sonia stormed in, her face a picture of annoyance. "Isn't everyone supposed to be getting ready for the show, rather than gathering to discuss irrelevant matters?" she snapped.
Liza greeted Sonia calmly, a hint of a smile on her lips. "Good morning, Miss Sonia." Sonia struggled to respond.
Liza continued, her voice confident. "I simply wanted to inform you that I have completed my new designs, as you can see. I will not allow you to undermine my work." She gestured to her designs, and Sonia's eyes widened in astonishment.
Sonia was incredulous, unable to believe that Liza had created such masterpieces in just two days. She was transfixed by the designs, her face pale with shock. For a moment, she was speechless, her eyes fixed on the designs as if mesmerized.
Liza departed the office, leaving Sonia staring after her. She proceeded to prepare for the show, her three assistants following closely behind, carrying the designs.
The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as everyone gathered for the fashion show. The event had drawn a sizable crowd, all eager to witness the spectacle. Williams Fashion Home was renowned for its exceptional shows, and this one promised to be no exception.
The show commenced, and everyone's attention was focused on the large projector screen. Sonia was the first to present, showcasing each design on the projector. The audience was impressed, admiring the creations. However, it was clear that something was missing.
As the audience watched, they couldn't help but comment on the designs. "These are stunning," they said. "Williams Fashion Home has truly talented designers. These designs are lovely."
The models for each design Sonia presented strutted down the catwalk, showcasing the designs with poise. The audience applauded as they appeared, admiring the designs.
Following Sonia's presentation, Liza took the stage, her eyes shining with confidence. She focused on the projector screen, scrolling through each design she was presenting. The audience gasped in amazement, astonished by the beauty of Liza's creations.
Everyone was stunned, unable to believe what they were witnessing. "These designs are breathtaking," they exclaimed. "Even more impressive than the first presentation. Did she create these? She must be incredibly talented."
As the audience watched, they couldn't help but admire Liza's designs. "I must purchase some of these designs before leaving today," some of them said to themselves.
Liza's models took to the catwalk, showcasing the designs with elegance. The audience rose to their feet, applauding and cheering with excitement. "You are incredibly talented!" they shouted to Liza. Liza smiled, her eyes shining with happiness.
Tylor was seen smiling, seated in the audience. His grandmother, seated beside him, said, "Tylor, I told you this young woman is exceptionally talented. Didn't you say the initial designs presented were the ones that were stolen?"
Tylor nodded, his eyes fixed on Liza. "Yes, Grandma." His grandmother continued, "Don't you see that these designs resemble her work? They appear to be something she created."
Tylor nodded in agreement. "I see the resemblance as well." His father interjected, "Tylor, this young woman has truly outdone herself. These designs are exquisite. We will reap significant financial rewards from this."
The audience erupted into laughter and applause, congratulating Liza on her stunning designs. However, Sonia was not pleased to see Liza receiving more accolades than she had. She observed the way Tylor's family approached Liza to offer their praise. Sonia's anger simmered just below the surface.
As the show drew to a close, Tylor approached Liza, offering his congratulations. "Liza, you were phenomenal on stage. How did you manage to create such incredible designs without showcasing them to me beforehand? You have truly impressed everyone. We are already receiving orders for these designs, and we will be working diligently to produce more."
Liza smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "I am at your service, Mr. Tylor. Thank you for your kind words."
Sonia was seen approaching them, Tylor walked up to her. "Sonia, you did a good job out there too. Those designs are beautiful."
Sonia responded with a hint of displeasure"Thank you, Tylor." She left to her office.
Sonia entered her office, Liza stood up to meet her. Liza said, "Miss Sonia, I trust you can see what I am capable of creating. I am skilled at my craft, and I hope you are prepared to defend the designs you stole from me. The show is now over, and it's time to face the music."
Sonia retorted, "You are the thief, Liza. You stole my designs. I am prepared to prove it, and we will see who the true thief is." Sonia left the office, her anger and frustration evident. The tension between Liza and Sonia was palpable, and it seemed that their conflict was far from over. The fashion show may have ended, but the drama was only just beginning.
