Leena has more guts than I gave her credit for. She stormed out of my office mid-conversation yesterday and that convinced me she'd quit but here she is, a smile plastered across her face as she walks to the chair in front of my desk. She didn't even bother to knock before letting herself in.
“I hope I'm not late,” she says, sitting down.
I clear my throat. “Not at all.”
“Right,” she says, her hands meeting in a soft clap. “Run me over the schedule, I'm ready to take up the lead role in acting for the week.”
“There's no schedule, script or rehearsal,” I say. “You'll ad-lib a scene with one of the male actors we still have for a short stand-alone episode based on the given theme.”
A fierce glint appears in her eye as she cracks a confident smile. “Let's do this!”
