When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the cold. Not the usual chill that crept through the stone halls of Fighting House. Not the kind that made you pull your cloak tighter and move on. No... this cold was different. It bit. It clawed its way through my clothes, sank into my skin, and wrapped itself around my bones like it had every intention of staying there. My breath caught as icy air filled my lungs, sharp enough to burn, and I immediately knew… We weren’t inside Fighting House anymore. My eyes snapped open. White. Endless, blinding white stretched out in every direction, broken only by jagged formations of ice and the uneven rise of snow-covered ground. The sky above was a dull, heavy gray, clouds hanging low as if they were pressing down on the world itself. No walls. N
