Red Thread of Faith

PROLOGUE: Help Would Come

A young man full of bruises, scars, and wound while holding a knife standing near and staring on a man bathing on his own blood in the floor. The place was so dark, quite and the only thing that describe it is scary.

"H-How dare you? Y-ou peasant. I will kill you," the man laying in the floor shout.

The kid flinch 'cause him to let the knife fall in the floor. The fear can be seen in his eyes as he sees every drop of blood on his hand all over the place by the light of the moon. The wounded man reach the knife and started to get up that give more fear on the kid.

"G-o go away. Leave me alone," the kid shout with a trembling voice and tried to walk away from the bad man. He tries to run but on fall because of the chain in his feet.

The bad man just laugh. While holding the knife on his right hand, he use his left hand to reach for the boy hair and pull it hard.

"Your work is just simple. Make more money, right, " the bad man said while pulling the boy's hair?

The bad man sell the boy every night to different people for a money. While the boy was being use like a toy of different people. The boy appearance is explicit. His small innocent face like an angel, alluring blue eyes that you can see the deeps of the ocean, a pink lips the lured you for a kiss. Any person would be fall in love at first sight.

"I want to go home. Let me go please," the boy said but even a little sympathy can't be seen in the assailants eyes.

"Why want to go home no one loves you as far as I know? You tell me you are nothing to your mother that even try to abort you when you aren't born yet right? Why go home when a lot of people want and love you here," tell by the assailant.

The boy reminisce the past when he was still in his house. His parent always busy in there business, having no time for him. It even worsen when her mother gave birth to his lovely sister. That's why he left home.

('It is you fault why you are in this situation. If you just stay and be patient you wouldn't be in this situation.')

While he was thinking all what he did the mad man lift his knife and going to kill the poor kid. The kid just shot his eyes close and wait for his death. Thinking it is faith and time to go. But then a loud gun noise invade the whole place the madman fall with a hole between his eyes on the floor. The poor kid sit on the floor together with the madman. He tries to open his eyes then he see a light coming from a guy holding a gun. He is wearing some sort of uniform.

"Hey kiddo are you ok," the man said while tap the kids face.

The kid seems to calm down as help arrived. He suddenly feel the exhausted all over his body and let the darkness invade his being. And the last thing he feel is a firm arm caught him before falling in the floor and greatful said...

"Thank you," and let himself drown into deep slumber.
