“What else is on my schedule for today, Linda?” Bryson asked over the intercom.
“Just a minute, sir,” Linda replied as she went silent. “Nothing for the rest of the day, sir. All appointments have been met.”
“Alright, thank you.” He mused, ending the call.
Bryson shut his eyes as he felt a sudden wave of exhaustion over him. He hasn’t felt at rest since Chantelle’s fall. He keeps worrying about the health of his babies. Even though the surrogacy journey had started begrudgingly on his end, he finds himself looking forward to their arrival as each day passes. Plans have been made for them; now he sees his future with the kids.
