“How is she doing? Don’t you think you should head to the hospital instead?” Bryson muttered in concern.
After dealing with Chantelle’s excesses last night, he had received a text from Owen that Khloe wasn’t feeling too good and he wouldn’t be able to attend the meeting they were supposed to have with Mercida and a few investors regarding the new quarter they were about to get into. Since Bryson was an expert in presenting cases like that, Owen likes to carry him along.
Owen ruffled his hair while staring at Khloe, who was sleeping soundly. “The doctor already came by to check on her. He says it is usual for her to be down since it is her first trimester. Also, she must be observant of her needs and reactions because she didn’t intend to keep the baby first.”
