Elena walked out of the prison with one thing in mind he is lying about everything.
“This isn’t over,” she whispered.
Her phone rang unknown number she answered.
“You’re digging where you shouldn’t.Her steps slowed.
“Who is this?”
A soft chuckle.You’re smarter than your father.”
Her heart tightened.What do you want?”
“To warn you.”About what?”
A pause ‘The deeper you go… the harder it will be to get out.”
The line went dead.Elena stared at her phone.
Fear crept in but it didn’t stop her rather It pushed her.
She turned and headed straight for her father.
“Tell me everything,” she demanded the moment she walked in.
Her father looked shaken.
“I told you what I know—”No,” she snapped. “You told me part of it.”There was something else,” he admitted.
Her heart pounded.
“What?” a hidden file… inside the data I copied.”
Her breath caught.
“What was in it?”Her father hesitated.Then said the words that changed everything
“Proof that the board has been manipulating company funds for years.”

“That’s corruption.”It’s worse,” he said quietly.
“It’s criminal.”
