Damn, Dancer was ruthless with the recruits, but it's what you have to do to toughen them up, I watched as she made them do warm ups, than started training them, i even joined them showing them how to throw a throat punch, and how to bring a rogue down fast, one girl asked me how i knew about that, I wasn’t ready to let anyone know that I'm an Ivy, i didn't want to freak everyone out. So i let her know when i was on the run, i ran into a few rogues, all you have to do is kicked them hard right in the middle of the back, or behind the legs, once they are down, you knee them right in the head right between the eyes, that will knock them out long enough for them to wonder what the h3ll happened to them, the other how to bring a rogue down, if they are in wolf form, grab their ears tightly than twist them so tight, that way the ears can be ripped right off, that way when they are howling in pain, you can finish them off, it's the only way, i had to learn quickly

“Why were you on the run? Luna,”

“It's a long story sweetie, one day, i will tell you. but for now, go do what your top trainer asked you to do, i will see you out here in the morning, she grunted like she didn't want to go and pack, but i knew she would be one of the ones that would take it all the way, i could tell how she trained, she really wants to become a warrior, i noticed a few that trained harder then the others, but you can never judge a book by its cover, some will just do what needs to be done but when the time comes they will step up and protect the ones that needs to be protected, and their are the over workers that will gain a lot, but ends up quitting because they feel they are too good to be a warrior, i didn't see any of those today. But i did see a lot of harder workers, i can't wait until tomorrow, I went inside with Cross, we sat in his office while he checked his email and did some paperwork, i watched what he did, he would read every page before he signed anything, i think that was a good idea, because you never know when someone would try and trick you and take your pack, i liked his office, how he had it set up, bookshelves on the walls with folders, books and scrolls, a marble desk, a flat screen on his wall, but it doesn't show any movies, he told me he has cameras around the land and he watches to see what is going on around his territory. i see where the cams turn slowly side to side, there's even a few in the woods, When he was done working, he sat back in his chair,

“The ceremony is in a few days. Did you pick out which dress you wanted to wear?

‘As long as i don't have to wear a long flowy dress, i'm all good, i think i got one in mind,”

“Good, good, Nicole will be doing your hair, and makeup, she will be your lady in waiting, but she will only come when you need her, i think someone standing all day waiting to see if you need something, is way too extreme, so as long as you don't need her around, she will be doing other duties,” i thought about it for a few minutes, who in their right mind would want to stand around all damn day waiting to see if i need anything, that's just crazy,

“Cross, I really do not need a lady in waiting, if she wants to do my hair and makeup, then that's fine by me, but I think if I need something I can go and get it myself, I can walk, my legs and arms are not broken, you know.” i heard him chuckle, and I thought it was the cutest thing ever. His lips came up as a smile. i guess he liked what i said, i mean if i'm going to be luna, i will be doing a lot of things on my own, I don't need someone following me around like a puppy waiting for me to notice them, i don't like that, to me it's kinda creepy, but i didn't tell him that part, i didn't want him to be upset about something as little as that,

‘So tomorrow, instead of watching them train, i want to join in on the training, i think i can learn some new moves from them, i watched a few of them, and i think they are going to be badass, i would like to see how much they already know, something tells me they been training before they were recruits,”

“Of course they have, at the age of 13 their parents starts training them they have to be strong and ready, so when they shift, they will be able to handle it, don't get me wrong now, it's still very painful, because our bones break and shift around, but they will be able to endure it, i have been there with each of them on their first shift,” i loved how he talks about the members of the pack, how he is always their on their first shift, i thought that was amazing what he does,
