One moment she was standing there, sarcasm dripping from her lips with a smirk on her face that told me she was remembering exactly what we had done on this deck last night. And the next moment, her feet slipped on the wet floor, her arms flailed, and she was gone.
The splash was loud enough to echo off the water.
Camille burst out laughing, clutching her stomach as her head fell back. "Oh my God. Oh my God, did you see that? She was talking and then—" She wiped a tear from her eye. "That's what you get for being jealous," she said, redirecting the last words towards the water.
