I felt Jordan’s anger while she was outside having a chat with River. I didn’t go check on her because it rather amused me that she was mad at him for something. My wolf did not trust River to be alone with Jordan, our mate, but I did not want to give River the satisfaction of thinking I was jealous of him.
Collin and I continued talking about coming up with a plan for Fire Moon. I got him to chill on the idea of Lee and his pathetic son, Luke, trying to over throw Alpha Cross. They wouldn’t be that stupid, surely. They would know I would be there in a second to tear them to shreds if they dared to try anything of the sort.
