I turned to the side to see Cassandra sleeping by leaning her body to the wall. I sighed looking at her. I looked at her.
I still can't believe that I came to Brazil just to make sure that she's okay. I felt something is not right here. I felt something would come and it would hurt her.
She's one brave girl to be honest. Coming here to Brazil alone with no weapons or protection was like commiting suicide. I don't know what's on her head but I want to keep on track what she will do.
We're together for hours but we barely talk to each other. She's busy with her mind and I'm busy with mine. I was glad that I gotta see her before she's going to move towards Patt.
She's crazy and I hate that she decides something so fast without thinking about her life. She's risking her life just for her parents.
To be honest, our parents were quite worried about Western since each of them have 5% of the stock in there. Western is a big company and if Patt wants to take over, they can easily control us too.
I stood up and took off my blazer, I put it on her so she won't get cold. I walked out from the van and sighed.
Why am I doing this? I opened my phone and called my sister.
"Still with that b***h?" She asked as soon as she picked it up.
"I need you to do something."
"What?" She asked in a cold tone
"Lauren.. please"
"Don't give me that tone, Marco"
"Go to the base and try to track Patt's whereabouts record and send it to me." I said since I don't have the computer and the app here
"I don't want to do it"
"Lauren.." I begged
"Just let go of that b***h! She almost killed you twice and you're still up for her?" She bursted angrily
"We need to save our s-"
"Are you kidding me? We have billions and you're thinking about this one small stock?" She hissed coldly and I ran my hand through my hair
"What's so important about this girl until you're willing to go to Brazil alone? Patt is a dangerous mafia. You need to get into your sense, Marco!" She added
"Can you just please help me Lauren?"
"No." She ended the call and I sighed.
What's so important about this girl? That's the question that I ask myself too. I don't even know why she is so important? I even hate the fact that I come here without thinking twice.
I turned to the van hearing Cassandra groaning in pain. I ran into the van and saw her back bleeding. She looked at it and winced in pain. She got shot by one of the police.
I walked towards her and took the emergency box on the side. I pulled my chair and sat beside her.
"Take off your top" I said and she pulled up her top. I cursed under my breath seeing her only in her b*a. I took out an alcohol to wash out the blood.
"Just do it" She said as she saw me hesitating to pour it to her. Her bullet wound wasn't as deep as mine and I'm thankful for that. I poured the alcohol and she winced in pain.
I treated her in silence. None of us talk.
"What exactly do you want now?" I asked and she turned to me
"My parents" She said
"Don't betray me again, I want to help you." I said as I put the big bandage on.
"Never trust me" She stated and I looked up to her.
"Can you just please listen to me for this? Team up with me and I'll help you to get your parents back and kill Patt in the process." I said coldly
"Why the sudden care? You have feelings for me?" She raised his eyebrows and that got me speechless
"I told you, don't fall-"
"You're so full of yourself" I cut her
"This is my business now. Lincon is safe. You have a small amount of stock there and you said you don't care about it. Then why are you here? Your presence here is not needed, Marco. I can take care of myself. What exactly do you want more?" She asked and that made me quite angry.
"So you say you can take care yourself? You don't have any weapons, no team, no protection.. you say you want to go there and save your parents. Are you sick?"
"I have my way and you're blocking it." What?!
"Then explain me your plan.." I said and I'm so frustrated by this girl. Suddenly her phone rang and she took it quickly. She walked out from the van.
I sighed big time and completely out of my mind for doing this. I decided to walk out of the van and my eyes widened.
"What the hell are you going here?" I asked them in horror.
"Just take him." Cassandra said and I turned to her angrily
"So you called them to get me? I told you-"
"Don't be ridiculous you i***t!" She bursted angrily
"You don't need to worry about her again. I sent my alpha team and some weapons for her."
"Are you f*****g kidding me Matthew?" I bursted angrily
"This is none of our business, Marco. Lincon is safe." Dylan said and I scoffed.
"Why do you keep betraying me like this?" I turned to Cassandra
Matthew and Dylan walked to me. I walked backwards not wanting to go away with them.
"Don't make me fight you, Marco." Matthew warned
"Get in your sense." Dylan added
"Get yourself together i***t!" Matthew punched me big time until I fell down to the floor. I got up quickly and punched Matthew back but he got my hand. Dylan caught me and they put a handcuff on me.
"Are you f*****g kidding me?" I bursted and turned my head to Cassandra.
"Why do you keep betraying me like this? I'm trying to help you."
"I care for you, that's why I kept betraying you, Marco. I'm sorry."
