Chapter 11“Are we heading toward Tahoe City?”
“Nope,” Talon answered Vance’s question while grinning. He, Vance, and Brett were currently in his car, and they had left the bed and breakfast approximately five minutes ago. “There’s a nice spot at the edge of town that will be perfect for our date.”
Vance seemed confused, and Talon could understand why the man would react that way. After all, no diners, restaurants, or any other forms of eateries could be found there. Talon then glanced in Brett’s direction, and he wasn’t surprised when the man started frowning a little. Brett must have figured out their destination. He knew the town better than Talon or Vance.
“Are we going to the camping ground?”
Talon beamed widely at Brett. “Bingo!”
Brett appeared really taken aback. “In winter?”
