Mr Miyagi's bar was packed. Hemmed in, Hannah queued to be served, waiting for Naomi to join her and Maggie. Naomi had to stop off at Ken's Fried Chicken next door for some chips. The music bounced through her, the bass tickling her feet.
"She better be back soon; she owes us a round."
Maggie agreed, checking the front doors.
After she’d met Benji at Wetherspoons and invited him and his friends to join her at her table, they declined. Not too worried, Hannah could tell how much Benji wanted to sit with her. He had to stay with his mates, who wanted to go to Mr Miyagi's. Disappointed, she managed to persuade Naomi and Maggie to venture over to the bar before they ended up at The Astoria for the duration of the night.
