Adele insisted on walking to the painting room. It was A long way from her room, but Federico believed in her. She took Her first step and it was painful as she had expected, then she took the next and it was just as painful, but the pain was bearable, She could manage it and to keep herself from thinking about it, she started a conversation with Federico to keep herself busy.
“It is a long way huh?”, She asked awkwardly as they passed by Federico’s room.
“Yes”, Federico muttered absentmindedly, His focus was on Adele’s misaligned feet. She still wasn’t used to walking with the pain but was certainly making an effort. He reached for her legs and Straightened it. Adele shifted away from his touch, but realized later that it was for her own good.
“Thanks”.
