Marlon loved to climb on the roof of his house and to observe the stars and the universe when the sky was clear, he wanted to see the Milky Way, but due to light pollution, that observation was reduced to only the brightest stars. Staring at the stars, he considered buying a telescope and going where there was no light, and observing in peace that endless satin sky streaked with stars and galaxies that seemed so far away.
As he lay on the roof staring at the brightest star in the sky, he saw a strange light passing in front of him. Since he observed the sky for many years, he knew the difference between comets, meteors, airplanes, satellites, etc.
The light that passed not so fast but not nearly as slow did not look like anything Marlon had seen so far. What confused him the most was that this light did not have a "tail" like a comet, but was crystal clear and somehow changed colors. He looked at the sky for a long time after that, would he not see the same light again and give himself at least some explanation, but that did not happen.
He went to his bedroom with the thought "I definitely need to buy a telescope."
